FLYSIMWARE LLC - FALCON 50 FSX P3D

FLYSIMWARE LLC - FALCON 50 FSX P3D

Determined to have Falcon 50 in the 'hangar' I bought this after trying the Carenado version which has been a disaster and still won't install correctly in P3D 5 despite use of the patch. The Flysimware Falcon 50 however installed flawlessly and is perfectly executed. I have Flysimware's Cessna Chancellor in MSFS and so should have known better and bought this first. If you want a Falcon 50 this is the one to buy

VIRTUALCOL - JETSTREAM SUPER 31 FOR FSX

VIRTUALCOL - JETSTREAM SUPER 31 FOR FSX

I have FS2004, XP11, Aerofly, P3D V5.3 and MSFS and my utilisation of each of is determined by a number of factors. FS2004 is still my favourite largely due the large amount scenery and add-ons which still look good on a fairly high spec rig, which is dedicated to FS2004. I bought the FS2004 version of this 'aircraft' and have now have the FSX/P3D version which runs in P3D V5.3 without any issues that I have been able to discover at the time of this review. The interior is still not up to the standard of Carenado, but it is reliable (unlike the Falcon 50 by said developer) Having spent hours with the MOM for the real aircraft it appears that that the fuel capacity and consumption need tweaked via the config file (see LM P3D guide on this) but that aside everything else appears to conform at price expectation and this 'aircraft' is a terrific value proposition. It's a subjective view but Virtualcol show so much promise and I will be duplicating my FS2004 purchases for P3D.

VIRTUALCOL - JETSTREAM SUPER 31 FOR FS2004

VIRTUALCOL - JETSTREAM SUPER 31 FOR FS2004

Further to my last review I researched this product and did research on the real aircraft performance figures. One of the initial problems with the product I mentioned in a previous post was the power requirments, My assumption was that the weights were innacurate, I have flown on a real full(pax) J31 so I could not see why the simulation appeared to be so inacurate. That sector was was KEWR-KIAD 26/12/93. 200 NM According to one J31 pilot the aircraft was less than optimal beyond a 12 pax 1 hr sector. My experience with the Vitualcol sim seems (in my opinion) to validate that. Graphics? Its not the latest (by a generational marigin) but I have 'logged' more hours on this 'aircraft' than P3DV5 and 2020 aircraft.

VIRTUALCOL - JETSTREAM SUPER 31 FOR FS2004

VIRTUALCOL - JETSTREAM SUPER 31 FOR FS2004

I thought, its cheap so why not. Its not study level and the physics are suspect but I enjoyed mastering it and it improved my throttle handling and descent profiling in other sims as well. I have a high end PC with P3DV5,XPlane 11 and MSFS yet I keep finding myself returning to the Virtualcol Jetstream in FS2004 if I have a spare 30 mins. It's a subjective opinion but I enjoy it and its great value and the only Jetstream I'm aware of.

VIRTUALCOL - DASH 8 SERIES FS2004

VIRTUALCOL - DASH 8 SERIES FS2004

This is the third VirtualCol product I have purchased. Their FS2004 products are not up there with more detailed offerings but they are excellent value for money. The 'Dash-8' is incredible value. The variety of models and airlines included is very surprising at the price. As a value proposition I was so tempted to give it 5 stars.
