This is a great start for this beautiful bird, but hopefully updates are on the way. The modeling and textures are beautiful, but some of the flight and ground handling characteristics need tweaking. First, it always seems to have a touch of brakes applied. It needs 45-50 percent throttle to get moving on taxi, and rolls to a stop much too easily and quickly given that the prop seems to provide way more thrust than it should. Which is my next point. Upon applying takeoff throttle the aircraft will leave the runway in about 100 feet and can then climb at about a 50 degree climb angle at 60 MPH without stalling. With power on, you need to pull it to near vertical to get a stall. The wing also seems to supply too much lift making it feel like a glider on landing. Its really difficult to bleed off airspeed on approach, and is glides along for way too long. this could be the prop still providing too much thrust or the wing providing too much lift, or both. All, in all, its a nice start, and will make for some gorgeous screenshots, but it needs more realistic flight handling.

On one hand I like the living aircraft feel of all of the vibration animations, however, andy real aircraft that did that as much as this one does would be covered in rivet dust streaks in weeks, and rattle itself apart in less than a year. Its easy enough to overlook in a sim/game, though, but what MUST be fixed is the ridiculous 9000:1 glide ratio. This thing is nearly impossible to land without forcing it on because it will glide F O R E V E R ... Come on BR-Sim.. Please fix this. Also, it needs SOME ability to lose speed when coasting. If you never touch the brakes, it will never stop rolling.

I applaud the effort on this and fort the most part it is pretty close to the actual airport. This is my ACTUAL home airport where I keep two aircraft in the hangars on the north end. I'm VERY glad to see these hangars are now the correct size and orientation, and the addition of the Helipad on taxiway Charlie is nice to finally see. Most of the buildings look pretty close to the real ones, but there are a few things I would love to change for a more authentic experience. First, I would lose the C-47 its a cool model, but its placed right where I normally taxi from the hangars out onto the movement area of the taxiways. No one EVER parks where this aircraft is located, and it is a big immersion killer. (for me at least) Second, I would not worry about jetways, or the crowd at the main terminal area. There are NO jetways or luggage carts at KGON, and there is NO airline or regional jet service. Just a small flight school with some Archers and Senecas. The military Helicopters are cool and authentic to the AVCRAD on the field, but they are parked on the wrong ramp, so if I could I would move those as well. If the developer is willing to work on an update, I would be very happy to provide lots and lots of pictures that could be used to more accurately depict this airport! Its definitely a good start, and probably totally acceptable to users who don't live at this airport.
