Daisappointed! I purchased this version of the R44 because I expected a better version than the Justflight version. The product looks nice but is missing a readeable checklist (displayed checklist has far too small texts) and has no 2D panel views. So you have to do everything through the virtual cockpit. More realistic of course but the cyclic is in the way. Also the clutch disengage switch is not modelled correctly. Apparently the switch guard is considered to function as the switch. You have to find this out yourself because there is no custom manual for the flightsim version. You get the full helicopter manual. Starting up was a struggle because there is no clear instruction for the sim. After struggling a lot I found that I had to use the mouse wheel at the top of the collective to increase throttle after using the start button. Flight characteristics I cannot review. I am used to the Dodosim Bell 206 which according to reviews has the most accurate helicopter flight characteristics in FSX; during my first fllghts with the R44 I experience a forward tilt while the cyclic is in neutral position. But maybe that is a characteristic of this specific helicopter. All in all not what I expected for this price. The Justflight version offers far more for less than half the price.

Three stars, not because it is a bad product, but there is a free product available which is at least as good on most aspects (NL-2000, https://www.nl-2000.com/); compared to that product the Megascenery has more autogen objects but less custom objects even when extended with the REALWORLD SCENERY - THE NETHERLANDS 3D ENVIRONMENT FSX P3D product. The frame rate of the Megascenery is slightly better than the NL-2000 product. The number of airports is far less in the Megascenery product. Both are photorealistic but NL-2000 has more detail but takes also far more space (almost 45GB compared to 8 GB for Megascenery). Both products are quite a step up compared to the FX standard scenery but both products reduce the frame rate considerably. So if you like a visual flight over The Netherlands in a realistic way buy this product or try the free version of NL-2000 is you have enough disk space and a sufficiently powerful computer.

I am very impressed. Living in Curaçao I found a meager environment in FSX-SE for this beautiful island. This software not only transforms the airport in the real world equivalent, it also transforms the island coastlines into more realistic coastlines that follow the actual coast of Curaçao. Included also a photoscenery of the area around the airport including the oil storage terminal with actual tanks at the right location in the photorealistic scenery. A must have if you like flying over Curaçao.

Nice replacement for the standard landclass; confusing when flying over an area that you know because it is a generic solution. I could hardly find my airport because the environment was completely different from before. So don't expect a realistic scenery; but it is much nicer to fly over this landclass than over the standard landclass.
