SIMBITWORLD - A PILOT'S LIFE - CHAPTER 2

SIMBITWORLD - A PILOT'S LIFE - CHAPTER 2

I have such a love/hate relationship with this app. I could never sim without it. It gives a sense of purpose and accomplishment to your simming. However, the interface is terrible. Every single time you click *anything*, it has to go out to the server. And the severs are very slow. So you click a button, and wait between 1 and 60 seconds for something to actually happen, because it has to pull all the data for the page down off of the server. And if you want to apply a filter? Every single letter is searched as you type. You type a single letter, and it searches by that letter individually and it has to complete that operation before you can type the next letter, when it does it all over again. It can take literal minutes to search by an airport. The UI itself is also ugly and unintuitive. Many buttons only work during certain flight phases, but they are not greyed out or indicated in any way until you click, so it's very easy to accidentally click buttons that throw up warnings. Overall, I highly recommend this app, but be prepared to be extremely frustrated by the user experience.

LATINVFR - NEW ORLEANS KMSY P3D4 P3D5

The terminal building looks great, but man, the ground looks terrible. Constantly looks like there is an inch of water on the ground. Everything looks wet and reflects like a mirror. Also murders my performance. Instant 10-15 fps drop any time the ground is in view. I can barely pull 30 fps on an external view with a stock aircraft. I'm lucky to get 15 in the cockpit of a PMDG. I also have LVFR's KBWI. It looks great and performs well. This one is just awful.

Anti-Piracy Warning

Protecting Your Purchase

The flight simulation add-ons you are purchasing are legally protected and copyrighted on an international level. This ensures that the creators' rights are upheld and their innovative work is safeguarded.

Why Piracy Hurts Everyone

Piracy undermines the dedication and creativity of developers. When you download or distribute pirated add-ons, it impacts the creators' ability to continue producing high-quality content. This affects the entire community by reducing the availability of new features and updates.

Consequences of Piracy

  • Legal Risks: Engaging in piracy can lead to severe legal consequences, including fines and prosecution.
  • Security Threats: Pirated software often carries malware, risking your personal data and system security.
  • Lack of Support: Unauthorized copies do not receive official support or updates, leading to potential issues and vulnerabilities.

How You Can Help

  1. Purchase Legitimately: Always buy add-ons from authorized sellers like SimMarket to ensure you receive authentic products.
  2. Report Piracy: If you encounter pirated add-ons, report them to the authorities or the original creators.
  3. Educate Others: Spread awareness about the negative impacts of piracy and encourage others to support developers by purchasing legitimate copies.

Thank you for supporting the flight simulation community and contributing to a fair and innovative marketplace.
