CHUDOBA DESIGN - BUCHAREST INT. AIRPORT LROP XP11/12
Beautiful airport but the ATC doesn't control any traffic, otherwise this would be a 5 star.

I am sorry but I have to lower my rating to 3 stars. The app is still pretty good, but I found too many issues. Dates are not consistent in flight history, some of the options don't work. Currency continues to revert to XDR even if you try to set a different currency, it shows up as XDR.. maybe not a big deal to many but annoying. Also, on two occasions I don't know if it was XP or AH, when trying to fly I was told I need to repair the airplane. It was at 0 so I had to spend most of my savings to repair it. I'm not talking about maintenance, it showed damage to landing gear and wings. In my previous flights I had excellent ratings (not crashes) so it just seems like it randomly shows up. One time it happened when XP12 crashed. I clicked the "quit" button and was hoping it would allow me to restart but it said "Your plane is damaged". So I assume if XP crashes, so does your plane :)... anyway, not a bad app, just not great.

Tough to review this because it is a good add-on for XP. Easy to install and it works out of the box. If you want to add a purpose to flying in XP, this is a good add on. It's been around a while. I am using it and will continue to use it. It does everything as advertised. Build a career of hauling cargo. You can start out in easy mode, where you already have a lot of money, or career mode (which I like) where you start out with a Cessna and 100K. The great thing is you can sell your Cessna right away and buy (if you have one) your favorite GA plane. So the jobs are good, the interface is fine, everything works. You set your plane to be cargo or passenger. Jobs begin as low paying so you will need to grind. A cool feature is ad hoc passenger jobs. If you have seats, you can pick any destination and find a few people that want to pay you to go there. You can convert from cargo to passenger and back any time. There is a nominal fee to do this. Now the negatives, and they really aren't that bad. It doesn't really seem to care (or enforce) how you load your plane. It gives you a job, and if you take it, but find you are way overweight, it will just warn you. Fine.. but you can take a job, then put 0lb in your plane, and fly. AH2 doesn't care and doesn't do anything. At first I did not like this but then I realized it's a small thing and it does give me some flexibility because many of the capacities / limits etc shown on planes are not exactly correct. It does not appear to have any effect on FPS so overall it's a very good add on. The only thing keeping it from a 5 star rating is that it seems a bit out of date and the forums seem rather dead. I had AH2 a few years back with Microsoft products and it seems like nothing has really changed except they added factories or something (not something I'm interested in) you also have a "personal finance" thing but I have no idea what this is about and don't care lol.

Excellent little plane and very well done. This is an amazing airplane if you want to go back in time, into the 1960s/70s, before GPS. You really had to navigate. This plane looks great, sounds great, and has so many features. You can choose realistic start, which is really cool. In a carbureted engine, you have to be careful how you start it, how much to prime it. In the cold be very careful. Carburetor heat is your friend. You can do walk arounds, and my favorite part is the utility that comes with it. Loading your passengers, changing from passenger to cargo, changing radios from 3 options; original (no GPS, just one VOR radio) to a simple GPS, and finally a sort of modern glass instrument. So you can fly like you bought an old 1976 Cherokee, and modernized it, or you can take yourself back to 1976, get out the maps, turn off the moving map in XP, and fly like you would back then. This is an excellent add on for XP and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves GA from the golden era!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I have wanted something like this for 20 years! It works great! Exactly what I needed. I got so tired of trying to modulate my keypresses.. could never get it right.. now it feels so smooth!!! Great work! I don't care about the career mode, that is completely broken anyway. Oh and the ad is hilarious!! :)

In my opinion it is the best traffic add-on for 2024 at this time. I have tried the better known freeware addons. They are fine, but this one is very simple, download, run the installer, then run the Traffic Control Center. The models look very good and don't affect FPS. One caveat is that if you're at very busy airports, you need to use the Traffic Control Center to dial down the spawn times (default is 90 minutes before schedule). If I did not do this, I would get an overload of planes at the airport and the sounds were constantly coming in and out. I think it was too much for my system Turning this down to 45 made everything smoother, and I still saw lots of airlines! I highly recommend this if you're like me and want it as simple as it can be.

THE BEST addon for P3D if you enjoy jets and detailed instrumentation modeling. The checklist and co-pilot feature is better than anything available, in my opinion, and it's included for no extra cost! The options are immense. You can start with the plane fired up and ready to go, or cold and dark. If you get stuck, you can quickly switch it to running and ready. Taking the time to go through each checklist item (for me) taught me a lot about how the plane operates. You can let the co-pilot handle all these details if you want, and watch what they do in order to learn. The plane looks beautiful, and there is a crazy amount of detail. This plane will keep you busy for a long time. I am not aware of any FPS hit on my system, or at least I haven't noticed any. This is one of those few "must have" planes for P3D!

Beautiful plane. Fun to fly. Nice looking cockpit. Old school! Using XP 11.31. No FPS hit.

This is a great weather add-on. Simple to set up. Runs without causing any frame rate drops. The best part is that it works in all flight simulators! I was using it for P3D, then I purchased X-Plane, thinking I would need to buy another weather program. Nope! This one was already set up, just had to select X-Plane! And it works great. No issues!

This is a great add-on for P3D. If you want to simulate a career without having to join a VA, this is for you. I would give this a 5 star, but there are a few minor things holding it back from that. Potentially, this could be a #1 add-on to P3D. The author appears to be open to suggestions and it looks like it is continuously being updated. You start out unemployed, and are offered several jobs with various airlines. Once you accept a job, you are given a schedule to fly. You can re-generate a schedule if you wish. You go into a setup screen to check what planes you have in your simulator. I believe these planes show up when you select an airline and start flying. I'm not sure, but I think you can simply ignore that and fly whatever plane you want to. I could be wrong and I didn't test it, but I was able to load up a Mooney Bravo and start a flight. It did not complain. The only reason I bring this up is because I'm not sure what restrictions are in place for different aircraft. Once you've chosen your flight, you go into your simulator and just fly it. You can alt-tab out if you want, but the program automatically sees that you are flying and begins tracking (I think you can turn this feature off). The live moving map appears to re-draw very slowly.. not sure why, but this does not affect the simulator. There is no FPS hit whatsoever. I think the database is stored at their website, because moving from tab to tab sometimes takes a few seconds, as the form is filled in with information. My guess is this is a live database somewhere remote. Not sure what this means if the network goes down. After the flight you simply have a log and you can fly your next flight. You can also apply for different jobs available, or even try to apply at any airline. Beware they may not want you unless you've gained experience. The interface is very well done, clean, and the information is laid out in a very organized manner. The author did a good job of not cluttering up the interface. If you've been looking for a "career" type of add-on that does not require you to join a Virtual Airline (you don't have to meet # flights criteria, or VATSIM, etc..), this is the one you want. The user manual is a little weak but should get you going. Initial setup was a bit confusing but the tech support was excellent, and I was up and running in no time. If you're running Windows 7, make sure you don't install into the Program Files (X86) folder (use a root folder), and you may need to exempt the installation folder from your anti-virus. Also, run as administrator. These things were causing issues for me before I changed them. I'm not sure if this applies in Windows 10. Overall, I am close to giving this a 5 star. I want to see where the author takes it in the future. Jeff

In my opinion, the best weather program for P3D4. Very easy to setup, no performance hit whatsoever. I'm guessing that this is because you aren't installing all kinds of textures. It uses the existing game textures (I think?). P3D4 looks beautiful out of the box, so no need for extra textures (again this is just my opinion). You simply download the latest weather one time before your flight, start your flight, and it will keep the weather up to date for your entire flight. I simply forget that it is still running. Importing a flight plan allows you to view all of the winds and temperatures at each waypoint. If you run FS Captain, this program integrates very well with it. Support is great, and response is fast. Jeff

My second review, and I've changed my mind. I wanted to be fair since I only gave it 3 stars last time. The throttle and condition levers are definitely touchy, but once I learned how to carefully manipulate them, the plane worked fine. For this reason I think it deserves a 4/5 but I can't remove my old rating, so I'll give it a 5 this time (to help the average). If you want to fly an ATR, and can't work around the issues of the Flight 1 ATR (no support and has CTD issues with FSX Steam), this is the one you want. The outside views are very good, the added service door is a nice feature. As stated earlier, throttle and condition levers. You really have to be careful. I use a joystick, but the best way to have everything work is to use the function keys to set the condition levers rather than your mouse in the 2D or 3D panel. The sounds are great. The inside 3D panel view is average, hard to see the FMS, but you can change to a 2D view to look at the FMS. From what I can tell, it takes the existing FSX flight plan so I it acts sort of as an old fashioned "GPS" mode. Localizer works fine, but the glideslope seems to hunt up and down. After just a few flights, I'm beginning to like this plane more and more. It never causes issues with FSX (no CTDs, etc) doesn't cause any framerate issues. Communication is excellent. They personally answer emails, which is a nice thing. Repainting is .. well, I don't understand it, but since it comes with a bunch of liveries, I don't know if that's an issue for most. I'm just now hoping to find someone who can paint a Tarom livery.

This is absolutely the best Airbus package I have purchased for FSX! Everything looks great, works great. It reminds me of the old PSS days, only way better! This package comes with a large number of liveries. I purchased it only because I wanted a Tarom Airbus. You get a fully working checklist to walk you through startup and all operations. You can let the co-pilot handle things after take off. It has nice cabin crew sounds, and at the gate you have a variety of options. All doors function, engine sounds a great. FMS works great. The models look good. I'm no expert on flying these, but it does appear to "feel" like it is modeled correctly. This has now become one of my favorite planes to fly!

The plane is ok, but I can't get my throttles to work consistently. There are times when the gust lock works, other times it doesn't, I seem my throttle wandering back and forth. The website is not the best, but the communication is good. Email response is excellent, so from that perspective, they get 5 stars. I wanted a Tarom paint, got an email link to a file, downloaded it, and I have no idea what to do with hit. No directions. I purchased this to replace my aging F1 ATR, but now I'm going back to that. I hope this is just my experience, because I see others loved it.

A great add on for FSX! This program adds some spice to your FSX flying experience. It will create a flight for you based on criteria that you set up. You can plan your own flight or have it recommend a flight (based on settings you choose). It will plan your fuel load and provide a flight plan. It will keep detailed flight records. Flight briefings are sent to your knee board, which is a great feature. You can modify the briefing as you need. It rates your flights based on options that you set. There a many hidden gems in this program, well worth the purchase price! If you're bored with just flying around randomly in FSX, this is definitely something you should check out!

Maybe it's only FSX but when using DirectX 10 preview, the plane shows up all white. If I turn that off, it looks fine. Also, the sounds don't seem right. There is an odd loud buzzing when in the outside view that I can't seem to get rid of. Otherwise its a neat little plane!
