A2A (with Accusim) makes the most complete and immersive add-ons available on the market. Period. One cannot compare their products with any other products because nothing comes even close. Another plus is they constantly work on the products that have released, coming up with new and better (if that' possible!) stuff in form of patches and the likes. A2A will only built a plane from the ground up ONLY if they have access to that type of plane in the "flesh" so to speak. No guess work. You can literally fly their add-ons by the numbers. The P-40 is their last addition in the Accusim hangar and it is no exception. It was previously released but was upgraded with a better quality VC and of course, new sounds, and Accusim. This add-on is, simply put, phenomenal. I'm a retired CAF member and i still fly GA's and this as close as it comes to the real thing. No one will regret buying this product: it is worth every penny.

Aerosoft keeps Flight simming interesting! Are you tired of the good ol' Cessna or Piper? Tired of the same ol' cockpit layout and flight behavior? Then this plane is for you! Aerosoft has done a marvelous job of recreating a soviet era style aircraft here with great fps to boot. The cockpit language is in Russian which add to the experience. And you can't beat the price. Another must have for your hangar, thanks to Aerosoft!

Another great plane from Aerosoft! Needs more versions and repaints, which is coming up in 2012 according to their forum. That would give it 5 stars. Superb VC and exterior model. Flight dynamics are bang on. Money well spent!

Not bad. Sure is better then what Captsim uses for it's C130. I was expecting a bit more ear candy, but overall, pretty good. The squeaky noises you hear when you start rolling are cool.Althought the added click sound for the flap handle should not be there (it is suppose to slide) it is, nonetheless, fun to hear. You really feel the rumbling of the engines if you have a deep bass on your sound system( it really annoyes my wife, which is a good sign!) Like i said: overall not bad.

Aerosoft has done it again! Well, i could not wait! i just bought this product as soon as it was available. I own the twin otter X and the F-16 X and the Catalina is in the same league: fantastic! I am very difficult to please when it comes to VC and realism, but the Catalina X is bang on. The sound will blow you away. Even if it is version 1.0, there seems to be minimal bugs as far as i can tell (i only flew it a little bit so far) By the way the mission included situates a Catalina in CFB Comox. CFB Comox happens to be the base i spent the last two years of my airforce carrier and i still fly in the area as of today! Again, Well done Aerosoft!
