AEROPLANE HEAVEN - ELECTRA 10A MSFS

AEROPLANE HEAVEN - ELECTRA 10A MSFS

The plane on first sight is nicely made and textured and certainly has potential being a classic and famous for Amelia Earhart's last flight (although that was a different and highly modified version). What I really like on this plane: - The switch for cold&dark mode - That the aircraft loads with Sperry Autopilot on default with the modern avionic equipment being entirely optional But in the present state the plane has following downsides: - The magnetic compass turns in the wrong direction and is also barely readable if the sun doesn't directly shine on it - The textures for bare metal liveries seem too dark - From inside the cockpit the engines sound a bit hollow and shallow as if the lower frequencies have been taken out, also is very loud compared to the overall average of other planes that makes it necessary to readjust your sound level settings - Then still some things that will hopefully be fixed later on but aren't that game-breaking The first issue with the compass was also present in their first FSX-release of the Electra. So either they reproduced a fixed problem or this version is just a polished port-over from FSX. Either way, considering the price of more than 30 Euros I can only give a 2-star rating. It would be a decent quality for a 10-15 Euros product. But for this price other vendors offer some kind of more or less deep system complexity which sadly is not the case with this plane. If you want to just fly around and enjoy the pictures, this plane might be for you. When looking only a little bit deeper, in its current state it seems like a beta-version or a port-over from FSX. And I only did a handful of test flights and came about multiple issues. I hope this gets fixed in time, the issues present should never have passed even a rudimentary testing.
