MXI DESIGN - LDDU - DUBROVNIK AIRPORT X-PLANE 11

MXI DESIGN - LDDU - DUBROVNIK AIRPORT X-PLANE 11

While the terminal is nicely modeled and brings some accuracy to the airport rendition in the X-Plane world, surrounding areas are not depicted, nor the most Eastern part of the airport with missing shelters and details. I'm sure the scenery fits-in nicely in MSFS world, but its coverage is a little limited in X-Plane.

MXI DESIGN - LDDU - DUBROVNIK AIRPORT X-PLANE 11

Comparing MSFS and X-Plane 11 variants of this scenery of LDDU it seems it was natively intended for MSFS and it is lacking in X-Plane. There are a few details. The main terminal custum building is very well done for sure, but there are not enough details for the price of around 18€. In particular the Western part of the airport is very empty. Also the nearby town is not modeled. Runway 08 threshold is also lacking : the light ramps are not here, for instance.

NIKOLA JOVANOVIC - TOPER CALCULATOR TOOL - B737 NEXT GEN

NIKOLA JOVANOVIC - TOPER CALCULATOR TOOL - B737 NEXT GEN

I am very pleased to state that TOPER gives me approximately the assumed temperature I find by hand doing the airport analysis. I tried to play with the aircraft TOW in TOPER and in most part I got concordant results and limitations with what I would have found manually from FCOM charts. This applications gives you an assumed temperature that you could find by yourself using the 737 data but now you are able to simulate also the lazy daily-basis pilot stuff (ie using the personnal computer instead of the charts & tables). The support from Nikola is reactive. A new update (1.3) available in the support forum solves some compatibility problems the previous versions GUI had on some computers with Windows 7 - 64 bits. So the application looks safe now for everybody. The application does not give you an estimated reduced N1 according to the Asummed temperature, so cross-control with the FMC N1 calculation is not directly possible from TOPER. Unless you use the FCOM tables manually with the assumed temperature and departure altitude in entry. I find the fact that TOPER B737 CL and TOPER 737 NG are separated in two products makes each product a bit overpriced, as both types could be naturaly merged in only one interface ! Only the performance tables are changing indeed ! However I like the software which allow to simulate more closely the current pilot behavior during pre-flight duties.

PREALSOFT - LOGNES - EMERAINVILLE X 2014 FS2004

PREALSOFT - LOGNES - EMERAINVILLE X 2014 FS2004

I tested the scenery, installed over a previous photorealistic layer. I recommand it for all people knowing Lognes in real life, at it is fully immersive. The scenery is a welcome addition to the FS2004 world. However, we had to mannually edit the AF2 file with ADE, because runways 26 and 08 are inverted in the naming. So the FS9 ATC clears you to land on what he thinks is R26, however it is R08 from your plane. Open ADE, select each runway and invert primary and secondary numbers. Then compile the airport.
