RJ Sim proudly presents VFR Blackpool, the most accurate and up-to-date rendition of Blackpool airport for FSX and P3D.

Development on VFR Blackpool began before the sad news that the airport was to close to commerical operations in October.

All major features are accurately modelled, including the commercial passenger terminal, airfield hangarage and nearby structures such as the adjacent industrial estate. The landmarks of Blackpool Tower and the Big One rollercoaster have also been recreated. The ground polygon has been hand-drawn to fully complement VFR photographic scenery, with custom, highly detailed textures.

VFR Blackpool has been designed and optimised for use with VFR photographic scenery (such as VFR Photographic Scenery for FS2004 or VFR Generation X for FSX), and the screenshots show this. However, the product will work with default scenery, and other scenery setups (such as ORBX FTX), however the airfield may display differently depending on your setup.

Still buzing with general aviation flights, Blackpool is one of the United Kingdom's oldest airfields. Who knows what the future holds...

This is an excellent depiction of EGNH Blackpool,it's as close as you can get to the real thing. Not only do you get the airport but also the surrounding industrial area which to my surprise models perfectly Morrison's supermarket and other store buildings which includes a car showroom where a friend of mine works. You also get the Big One roller coaster as well as Blackpool Tower, everything works perfectly with Horizon GenX photo scenery. Now I know all the above to be correct, I live on the Fylde Coast, was a member of ANT Flying Club at EGNH for years (did my 1st solo,1974) and it was nice to see their clubhouse depicted. Although at the present time (Jan 15) there is no commercial traffic thankfully the GA side is still operating although I get Ryanair 737 traffic etc., on the Sim. Only thing missing is some light aircraft but hopefully Instant Scenery may solve that. Personally it is great to re-visit "flying" off EGNH runways after 40 odd years. If you fly U.K. then this is well worth the money. Many thanks R.J. Echofox

This is superb, most of the Blackpool airport sceneries I tried were not a patch on this. Great value for money. I was born in Morecambe and travelled regularly to visit relatives in Blackpool. This brought back many happy memories. It was wonderful to fly over the houses, so realistic. No problems with the download, installation or running of the software.

The airport, tower and the pepsi max roller coaster are very well detailed. I am using JF VFR Scenery with revolution x and it all fits nicely, I have not tried it with default scenery. Initially I had a few problems, mostly due to my inability to grasp the simplest of concepts. RJSim were exceptionally quick to respond to my request for help and completely solved my issues. I have paid a lot more than this for sceneries that have gone straight in the bin, so good value for money, and fully recommended.

I have for sometime been looking for a good Blackpool scenery to compliment my move from FSX to P3D. I am pleased to say I have found it! This scenery is excellent and portrays the airport and surrounds in excellent quality and detail. It is so good it brought flooding back very fond memories of flying out of Blackpool in the 1980's. The developer Ryan is also excellent on support and replied to a question I emailed within minutes. Well done RJ Sim!!
