Description
Located in the heart of Yorkshire, Sherburn-in-Elmet airfield was once home to the Armed Forces Experimental Establishment during World War II. Now, the airfield is home to one of the UK's premier flying clubs, Sherburn Aero Club. Sherburn Aero Club has access to three grass runways and one paved runway.
VFR Sherburn provides the most accurate and visually realistic rendition of Sherburn-in-Elmet airfield for Microsoft Flight Simulator to-date.
All major features are accurately modelled, including the Clubhouse, airfield hangarage and nearby structures such as the adjacent industrial estate. Custom static aircraft are included, painted in the aero club's livery. A hand-made custom ground polygon has been made to fully complement VFR photographic scenery, with custom textures.
This product has been designed and optimised for use with VFR photographic scenery (such as VFR Photographic Scenery for FS2004 or VFR Generation X for FSX), and the screenshots reflect this. Photographic scenery is recommended for the best result but is not required. The product will work with default scenery, and other scenery setups (such as ORBX ENG), however the airfield may display differently depending on your setup.
