SYSTEM READINESS

Sufficient free disk space for RCOC, temporary files and maintenance operations
Internet connection recommended for scenery discovery, online resources, support and applicable update checks
Some System Readiness information depends on what telemetry your PC hardware and Windows installation make available, so individual readings may vary between systems.
INSTALLATION
RCOC is supplied through a self-contained Windows Setup.exe installer.
No separate .NET installation is normally required
Administrator access is ordinarily not required
Supported upgrades can replace an earlier RCOC installation while preserving applicable settings
RCOC can be removed through Windows Settings > Apps
Uninstalling RCOC does not intentionally remove MSFS packages, Community content or unrelated personal files
SAFETY & DATA PROTECTION
Safety is a core part of RCOC.
File-changing operations are designed around clear selections, customer confirmation and controlled workflows.
Where applicable, RCOC:
Only performs file-changing actions initiated by you
Shows confirmation prompts before relevant operations
Skips or reports protected, unavailable or locked files
Treats official or simulator-controlled content as read-only where supported
Uses reversible workflows where technically possible
Operates only within required simulator, add-on and supported system locations
RCOC is not designed to unnecessarily access your personal documents, photos or unrelated private files.
For the safest experience, download RCOC only through authorised distribution channels and keep Windows Security or another reputable security solution enabled.
ADD-ON & PACKAGE MANAGEMENT
RCOC can identify, analyse and manage compatible simulator packages and add-on libraries.
Before moving, linking, activating, disabling or managing content:
Close Microsoft Flight Simulator when instructed
Check the selected package or location
Read the confirmation before proceeding
Keep backups of important custom content
Never force changes to protected or simulator-controlled files
Compatible local fixed-disk storage is recommended for managed external add-on libraries.
Cloud-synchronised, network, redirected or unusual storage locations may not support every RCOC management feature.
CACHE & MAINTENANCE TOOLS
Before performing cache or maintenance operations:
Close MSFS when instructed
Check the selected cache or location
Allow Windows or simulator processes to finish using relevant files
Review the action before confirming
RCOC will not intentionally force changes to locked or protected files.
SYSTEM READINESS
System Readiness can display simulator-focused information including:
CPU performance and temperature
GPU performance and temperature
Memory usage
Storage information
Other supported system telemetry
Available readings depend on your hardware, drivers, motherboard, Windows configuration and manufacturer-supported telemetry.
System Readiness is designed as a diagnostic and troubleshooting tool, not a replacement for manufacturer-specific hardware software.
DRIVERS & WINDOWS UPDATES
Where RCOC identifies available graphics, chipset, Windows or other system updates, important updates should always be verified through the appropriate official source.
Before making major system changes:
Confirm the correct hardware manufacturer
Check compatibility with your PC
Use official manufacturer downloads wherever possible
Consider creating a backup or Windows restore point
Always follow Microsoft's or the hardware manufacturer's own installation instructions where applicable.
