Runway Command Operations Center is a premium all-in-one Microsoft Flight Simulator management, diagnostics, troubleshooting and discovery platform — built to give flight simmers greater visibility, control and confidence over their simulator environment.
Modern flight simulation can become complicated quickly.
Airports overlap. Add-ons conflict. Community folders grow into hundreds or thousands of packages. Liveries accumulate. Storage disappears. Cache files cause problems. Hardware performance changes. Simulator installations become spread across multiple drives, and when something goes wrong, finding the actual cause can mean digging through folders, configuration files and Windows settings for days.
Runway Command Operations Center brings those tools together into one purpose-built command centre.
Instead of spending many hours maintaining your simulator, RCOC helps you understand what is installed, identify potential problems, manage your content, monitor your system and get back to what actually matters:
Flying.
YOUR MSFS COMMAND CENTRE
Runway Command Operations Center has been designed specifically around the real-world challenges faced by Microsoft Flight Simulator users.
Whether you run a relatively clean simulator installation or an enormous collection of airports, aircraft, liveries and utilities, RCOC gives you a central location from which to understand and manage your simulator environment.
The application can identify Microsoft Flight Simulator installation information, locate configured package paths and Community folders, analyse installed content and present complex information through a clear aviation-inspired interface.
You don't need to be a Windows expert.
You don't need to know where every MSFS configuration file lives.
And you shouldn't need to manually search through hundreds of folders every time something goes wrong.
RCOC does the heavy lifting and presents the information in a way that makes sense.
CONFLICT RADAR
Large scenery libraries can contain multiple packages covering the same airport or geographic area.
Conflict Radar helps identify where those overlaps may exist.
RCOC analyses installed simulator content and groups potential conflicts together, helping you investigate duplicated airports, overlapping scenery and packages that may be competing for the same location and in turn decimating your performance and FPS.
Rather than manually opening hundreds of folders and trying to work out which add-ons might be related, Conflict Radar gives you a dedicated starting point for troubleshooting.
Potential conflicts can then be investigated and managed using the tools available throughout RCOC.
SCENERY SWITCHBOARD
Your Community folder doesn't have to be an uncontrolled collection of everything you own.
Scenery Switchboard gives you greater control over which add-ons are active in your simulator environment.
Review your installed scenery, understand what is currently active and manage packages through a dedicated interface designed specifically for flight simulation.
Packages can be temporarily taken out of the active simulator environment for troubleshooting or organisation and restored when required.
For customers maintaining large libraries, RCOC can also assist with content stored across different drives, allowing compatible add-on storage arrangements to be managed without forcing every package to permanently consume space on the simulator's primary drive. Basically a one click link from your secondary drive to your simulators primary community folder that is kilobytes in size instead of gigabytes in size!
It means a cleaner Community folder, easier troubleshooting and considerably more control over large add-on collections.
FLEET MANIFEST
Your simulator isn't just scenery.
Fleet Manifest provides a dedicated view of the aircraft within your simulator environment.
Instead of aircraft disappearing into an increasingly complicated collection of packages and folders, RCOC helps bring your fleet information together into one organised location.
For customers with growing aircraft collections, Fleet Manifest provides another layer of visibility over exactly what makes up their simulator.
LIVERIES
Large livery collections can become surprisingly difficult to keep track of.
RCOC provides a dedicated Liveries area to help customers understand and manage the additional aircraft liveries installed within their simulator environment.
Keeping aircraft and liveries separated into logical areas makes large simulator libraries easier to understand and considerably easier to maintain.
SYSTEM READINESS
Flight simulation pushes modern PCs hard, and getting the best experience isn't just about having powerful hardware. Drivers, Windows updates, system resources, temperatures and simulator technologies all play a part.
System Readiness gives you a clearer picture of the PC underneath your simulator — and helps you keep it ready to fly.
Runway Command Operations Center brings important hardware, system and performance information together in one flight-sim-focused interface, helping you understand not only how your PC is performing, but also whether important parts of your system may need attention.
Depending on supported hardware and available system telemetry, RCOC can monitor and present information including:
CPU activity and temperature
GPU activity and temperature
Physical memory utilisation
Storage and system information
Simulator-relevant performance indicators
Live and historical performance graphs
But System Readiness goes considerably further than traditional PC monitoring.
RCOC can also check important areas of your system and report when updates may be available, including:
Graphics driver updates
CPU and chipset driver updates
Windows updates
Other simulator-relevant system components
Instead of expecting you to hunt through Windows, manufacturer utilities and support websites, RCOC brings this information together so you can quickly see what may require attention before troubleshooting your simulator.
DLSS SWAPPER
RCOC also includes a powerful DLSS Swapper, giving supported NVIDIA users an easy way to manage the DLSS version used by their simulator.
Rather than manually searching for DLL files, navigating simulator directories and replacing files yourself, RCOC provides a purpose-built interface for identifying and managing supported DLSS versions.
This gives experienced users greater control while making DLSS management far more approachable for flight simmers who may never have attempted it manually.
DLSS swapping will give your far greater stability, less stutters and a better visual experience for your simulator.
MORE THAN NUMBERS
The goal of System Readiness isn't simply to throw technical numbers onto the screen.
RCOC is designed to turn system information into useful, understandable flight-simulation context.
Whether you're investigating stutters, checking temperatures, watching memory usage, identifying an outdated driver, reviewing Windows updates or managing DLSS, System Readiness gives you one central place to better understand the PC powering your simulator.
Less hunting. Less guesswork. More flying.
FIND ME AN AIRPORT SCENERY
Looking for a better version of your next destination?
RCOC includes a dedicated Find Me an Airport Scenery experience designed to help customers discover airport scenery without beginning every search from scratch.
Search for airports and investigate available scenery options, including relevant freeware and commercial products where supported.
Instead of remembering which developers cover which airports or repeatedly searching multiple sources, RCOC provides a convenient starting point directly inside your simulator operations environment.
Your management platform becomes a discovery platform as well.
FIND ME A FLIGHT
Sometimes you know how long you want to fly.
You just don't know where you want to go.
Find Me a Flight turns available flying time into inspiration.
Tell RCOC approximately how long you want your flight to be and use the available search options to discover suitable airport combinations and routes.
Whether you're looking for a quick one-hour sector, a four-hour afternoon flight or something considerably longer, Find Me a Flight is designed to help turn:
"Where should I fly today?"
into an actual flight plan idea.
HOW-TO GUIDES & TROUBLESHOOTING
Flight simulation has an enormous learning curve, and troubleshooting shouldn't require searching through years of forum posts every time something stops working.
RCOC includes a dedicated How-to Guides & Troubleshooting area designed to help customers understand common simulator problems, maintenance procedures and configuration tasks.
Instructions are presented with flight simmers in mind, helping make complicated procedures easier to follow without assuming every customer is an advanced Windows user.
BUILT FOR LARGE ADD-ON COLLECTIONS
Runway Command Operations Center becomes increasingly valuable as your simulator grows.
RCOC can help reduce the time spent:
Searching for hidden simulator folders
Digging through Community packages
Identifying duplicated or overlapping scenery
Troubleshooting add-ons individually
Moving packages manually during testing
Managing content stored across multiple drives
Locating configuration files
Maintaining simulator caches
Understanding aircraft and livery collections
Monitoring simulator-related system performance
Searching for new airport scenery
Deciding where to fly next
Trying to understand why your simulator isn't behaving as expected
Instead of maintaining your simulator through dozens of disconnected folders, websites and Windows tools, RCOC provides a central operations environment.
SAFETY IS A CORE DESIGN PRINCIPLE
Runway Command Operations Center interacts with an environment in which customers may have invested hundreds or thousands of dollars in aircraft, scenery, utilities and other simulator content.
That responsibility has been treated seriously throughout development. Runway command operations center is built by a simmer, for simmers!
RCOC has been designed around controlled workflows, clear actions, validation, confirmations and protective checks.
Where simulator content needs to be disabled or moved for troubleshooting, RCOC is designed around controlled and reversible workflows wherever the relevant function supports them.
Potentially destructive or sensitive operations are deliberately treated differently from ordinary navigation commands.
Customers should be able to understand what RCOC is about to do before it does it.
RCOC is also designed to operate within the simulator and system areas required for its functionality rather than unnecessarily accessing unrelated personal information.
Extensive development and testing has been undertaken around application stability, file-management behaviour, hardware compatibility, simulator detection and customer protection.
No software can eliminate every possible configuration issue, and maintaining backups of valuable simulator content remains sensible practice, but RCOC is designed to provide a significantly more controlled approach than manually moving, renaming and deleting simulator files throughout Windows.
BUILT FOR DIFFERENT PCs
Flight simmers use an enormous variety of hardware.
Different processors.
Different graphics cards.
Different storage configurations.
Different Windows installations.
Different MSFS editions and installation locations.
Different add-on libraries.
Runway Command Operations Center has been developed with this diversity in mind.
Where system information or hardware telemetry is available through supported Windows and hardware interfaces, RCOC is designed to identify and work with the customer's actual environment rather than assuming every customer owns the same hardware configuration.
The objective is simple:
RCOC should adapt to the simulator PC — not require the simulator PC to adapt to RCOC.
MORE THAN AN ADD-ON MANAGER
Runway Command Operations Center isn't intended to be another folder viewer with a polished interface.
It brings together several areas of simulator ownership that traditionally exist separately:
That combination transforms RCOC from a simple utility into something much broader:
A command centre for your simulator.
DESIGNED FOR WINDOWS
Runway Command Operations Center is a dedicated Windows application built for the PC flight-simulation environment.
Installation uses a familiar Windows installer experience, with standard application access and uninstall support.
The interface has been deliberately designed to make advanced simulator management approachable for everyday customers while still providing useful information and functionality for experienced PC flight simmers.
Behind the premium aviation-inspired interface is a simple objective:
Make managing Microsoft Flight Simulator easier.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Runway Command Operations Center is a standalone third-party Windows utility intended for compatible PC versions of Microsoft Flight Simulator.
RCOC does not include Microsoft Flight Simulator itself or any third-party aircraft, airports, scenery, liveries, utilities or other add-on products that may be identified, managed, referenced or discovered through the application.
Availability and behaviour of individual RCOC features may depend on the customer's simulator version, Windows configuration, hardware, installed software, permissions, internet connectivity and third-party add-ons.
Customers should review selections and confirmation messages before performing file-management or maintenance operations and should maintain appropriate backups of important simulator content.
Runway Command Operations Center is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Microsoft, Xbox, Asobo Studio or Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Microsoft Flight Simulator and related names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
EARLY ACCESS INFORMATION
Runway Command Operations Center is being introduced as an early-release product following extensive development, operational testing, safety testing and compatibility validation.
Flight simulation exists within an unusually diverse PC ecosystem. Customers may have different Windows versions, hardware combinations, simulator editions, installation locations, storage arrangements and hundreds of different third-party add-ons.
Although RCOC has been designed and tested with reliability, safety and compatibility as major priorities, it is impossible for any application to reproduce every potential customer configuration before release.
Unexpected compatibility issues may therefore occasionally occur.
Where an RCOC-related problem is identified, it can be investigated so appropriate fixes, improvements or guidance can be developed.
Early Access also provides an opportunity for real-world customer feedback to contribute directly to the continued development of the platform.
The objective is not simply to release RCOC and leave it unchanged.
Runway Command Operations Center is being built as an evolving operations platform for the flight-simulation community.
As the simulator changes, hardware evolves and the needs of flight simmers continue to grow, RCOC can continue to evolve alongside them.
