Conflict Radar helps identify where those overlaps may exist.
RCOC analyses installed simulator content and groups potential conflicts together, helping you investigate duplicated airports, overlapping scenery and packages that may be competing for the same location and in turn decimating your performance and FPS.
Rather than manually opening hundreds of folders and trying to work out which add-ons might be related, Conflict Radar gives you a dedicated starting point for troubleshooting.
Potential conflicts can then be investigated and managed using the tools available throughout RCOC.
SCENERY SWITCHBOARD
Your Community folder doesn't have to be an uncontrolled collection of everything you own.
Scenery Switchboard gives you greater control over which add-ons are active in your simulator environment.
Review your installed scenery, understand what is currently active and manage packages through a dedicated interface designed specifically for flight simulation.
Packages can be temporarily taken out of the active simulator environment for troubleshooting or organisation and restored when required.
For customers maintaining large libraries, RCOC can also assist with content stored across different drives, allowing compatible add-on storage arrangements to be managed without forcing every package to permanently consume space on the simulator's primary drive. Basically a one click link from your secondary drive to your simulators primary community folder that is kilobytes in size instead of gigabytes in size!
It means a cleaner Community folder, easier troubleshooting and considerably more control over large add-on collections.

Where simulator content needs to be disabled or moved for troubleshooting, RCOC is designed around controlled and reversible workflows wherever the relevant function supports them.
Potentially destructive or sensitive operations are deliberately treated differently from ordinary navigation commands.
Customers should be able to understand what RCOC is about to do before it does it.
RCOC is also designed to operate within the simulator and system areas required for its functionality rather than unnecessarily accessing unrelated personal information.
Extensive development and testing has been undertaken around application stability, file-management behaviour, hardware compatibility, simulator detection and customer protection.
No software can eliminate every possible configuration issue, and maintaining backups of valuable simulator content remains sensible practice, but RCOC is designed to provide a significantly more controlled approach than manually moving, renaming and deleting simulator files throughout Windows.

EARLY ACCESS INFORMATION
Runway Command Operations Center is being introduced as an early-release product following extensive development, operational testing, safety testing and compatibility validation.
Flight simulation exists within an unusually diverse PC ecosystem. Customers may have different Windows versions, hardware combinations, simulator editions, installation locations, storage arrangements and hundreds of different third-party add-ons.
Although RCOC has been designed and tested with reliability, safety and compatibility as major priorities, it is impossible for any application to reproduce every potential customer configuration before release.
Unexpected compatibility issues may therefore occasionally occur.
Where an RCOC-related problem is identified, it can be investigated so appropriate fixes, improvements or guidance can be developed.
Early Access also provides an opportunity for real-world customer feedback to contribute directly to the continued development of the platform.
The objective is not simply to release RCOC and leave it unchanged.

Sufficient free disk space for RCOC installation, temporary Windows files and applicable maintenance operations
Internet connection recommended for online functionality including airport and scenery discovery, official resources, support information and applicable update/version checks
RCOC's system-monitoring and hardware features depend on telemetry and information made available by the customer's Windows and hardware configuration. Availability of individual readings may therefore vary between systems.
Installation
Runway Command Operations Center is supplied through a self-contained Windows Setup.exe installer.
No separate .NET runtime installation is normally required
Installation is performed for the Windows user and ordinarily does not require administrator access
Supported upgrades can replace an earlier RCOC installation while preserving applicable preferences and unrelated files
RCOC can be removed through Windows Settings > Apps
Uninstalling RCOC does not intentionally remove Microsoft Flight Simulator packages, Community content or unrelated personal files
Security & Data Protection
Safety is a core design principle of Runway Command Operations Center.
RCOC has been developed with protective workflows surrounding simulator detection, package management, storage, maintenance and other supported operations.
File-changing actions are initiated by the customer
Relevant operations use clear selections and confirmation prompts
RCOC does not intentionally move, delete or modify supported simulator content without an applicable customer-initiated action
Protected, unavailable or locked files are skipped or reported where applicable
Simulator-controlled and official content is treated as read-only where supported
RCOC operates within detected or customer-selected simulator, add-on and supported system locations required for its functionality
Sensitive operations are designed to favour controlled and reversible workflows where technically possible
RCOC is not designed to unnecessarily access unrelated personal documents, photographs or other private customer files.
Customers should obtain RCOC only through authorised distribution channels and keep Windows Security or their preferred reputable security software enabled.
Package & Add-on Management
RCOC provides tools for identifying, analysing and managing compatible simulator packages and add-on libraries.
Before activating, deactivating, moving, linking, parking or otherwise managing simulator content:
Close Microsoft Flight Simulator where instructed
Review the selected package or location
Read confirmation messages before proceeding
Maintain backups of valuable or irreplaceable custom content
Do not attempt to force modifications to protected or simulator-controlled content
For managed external add-on libraries, compatible local fixed-disk storage should be used unless RCOC specifically identifies another configuration as supported.
Network, redirected, cloud-synchronised or otherwise non-standard storage locations may not support all RCOC management functions.
Cache & Maintenance Operations
RCOC provides guided access to supported simulator and system-maintenance functions.
Before deleting or changing cache data:
Close Microsoft Flight Simulator when instructed
Confirm the cache or location selected by RCOC
Allow any active simulator or Windows processes to finish using the relevant files
Review the action before confirming it
Locked, unavailable or protected files should not be force-modified.
System Readiness & Hardware Monitoring
RCOC can provide simulator-focused system information and supported hardware telemetry to help customers better understand their PC while using Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Available information may include CPU, GPU, physical memory, storage and other relevant system data.
Hardware monitoring availability and accuracy can vary depending on the customer's CPU, GPU, motherboard, drivers, Windows configuration and the telemetry exposed by individual hardware manufacturers.
System Readiness information should therefore be treated as a diagnostic and troubleshooting aid, rather than a replacement for manufacturer-specific diagnostic software.
Drivers & Windows Updates
Where RCOC identifies or provides information relating to graphics, chipset, Windows or other system updates, customers should verify and obtain updates through the appropriate official source.
Before installing third-party drivers or system updates:
Verify the hardware manufacturer
Confirm compatibility with your system
Use the manufacturer's official download source wherever possible
Create appropriate backups or restore points before significant system changes
RCOC should not be used as a substitute for the installation instructions or compatibility requirements provided by Microsoft or the relevant hardware manufacturer.
