New York City Times is Samscene3D's first city scenery beyond Asia for MSFS, it is also in the series after Shanghai and Hong Kong.
A re-design of New York city area according to geographical position of objects. We bring out the best of MSFS in build photogrammetry around the city area, by fixing textures, structure and added back many missing buildings and features.
The main objective of this scenery is to show MSFS's USA photogrammetry at its best, with addition of feature buildings to further enhance the simulation experience.

Hice un comentario hace tiempo en el que decía que este escenario penalizaba los fps, pero con el tiempo me he dado cuenta de que era un problema de Asobo, no de Samscene. Con las sucesivas actualizaciones, en las que Asobo ha mejorado el rendimiento del juego, cada vez se ve más bonito Nueva York y va más y más fluido. 100 % recomendable, date el gusto de volarlo en helicóptero para apreciar cada detalle, es magnífico, un espectáculo visual. No te lo pierdas.

Abysmal performance when 10-20 miles out, I have a 3950X, 3Tb M.2, 32GB 3600 and a RTX3080. Not too bad directly over the city, terrible frames at KCDW when looking toward NYC. Please optimize! Looks stellar though!

Muy bonito, de verdad que sí, pero penaliza el rendimiento en 20-30 fps, con una RTX 3070. Very beautiful, really, but it penalizes performing about 20-30 fps, with RTX 3070

I am not sure how the previous reviewer can review the scenery without buying it. I am sure the Empire State building problem has been fixed weeks ago. The scenery is very well done without problem. I purchased it to support the vendor to do more great scenery like this in the future.

Outstanding addition to NYC, I recommend it, it does impact FPS, Would like to see more reflection of light on glass specially in WTC.

I absolutely love that Samscene did NYC, I've been waiting the whole year for this! I bought their HK addon and it's one of my favorites if not my favorite. The buildings are remarkably designed and bring life to what was there before. NYC was pretty good by default but at times looked pretty drab and like has been said about photogrammetry it can look almost apocalyptic. But with Samscene, it comes to life with more buildings and buildings like Chrysler Building, One Trade Center and a bunch others you can see them literally shine so much that they reflect images like the water. Flying around NYC never felt so real. Times Square is amazingly done, the selfish me wished that the entire NYC was done with the street level details of Times Square. Night lights were a breath of fresh air, MSFS night lights leave a lot to desire and wonder why they chose to make the default city lights so cartoonish, but with Samscene the night lights are as vibrant as we see in any addon like Dubai, HK, London etc. I gave this a 4 mostly because as a person who has lived in NYC for nearly 40 years, I can notice big missing features like the fact that NYC is made up of 5 boroughs not just Manhattan. Knowing that it would be crazy to do all 5, I would have appreciated either Manhattan and bigger scenery in the other boroughs, example Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, Barclay Center in Brooklyn and CitiField in Queens. Or at least complete the major borough to borough bridges, George Washington, Whitestone, RFK, Verrazano etc. The reason that this unfortunately stands out is because the did the bridges in Manhattan which look fantastic but conflict with any NYC bridge addon, so your choices are therefore limited to all NYC bridges with no NYC addon, NYC addon with only 3 or 4 NYC bridges or NYC addon with all bridges and 3 of them overlapped and doubled up (those who have put two scenery packs on top of each other would understand) btw, I chose option 3 but wished I didn't have to. Overall, great scenery pack with amazing additions for one of, if not, the greatest cities in the world! Here's to my wishing and dreaming that they update this with some of the remaining bridges! Great job Samscene!
