This scenery has been developed for use in MSFS 2024. The runway, taxiways, and aprons have been designed and configured in accordance with official AOC, PDC, ADC, and VAC charts (October 2026). The scenery features a variety of custom-modeled objects with low-poly topology, as well as a unique night lighting system.
In addition to custom 3D objects and textures, this scenery also utilizes objects and textures from Asobo Microsoft provided as part of their base package with the goal of ensuring better integration with the simulator's default global environment.
Maceió / Zumbi dos Palmares International Airport (IATA: MCZ, ICAO: SBMO) is an international airport located in the municipality of Rio Largo, Alagoas, 22 km from the center of Maceió. It is the fifth-busiest airport in the Northeast Region and also ranks fifth in the region in terms of passenger terminal size, following the airports in Salvador, Natal, Recife, and Fortaleza. Its original 2,200-meter runway was renovated, and a new 2,602-meter runway—along with a new passenger terminal—was inaugurated on September 16, 2005. This terminal (covering 22,000 m²) follows the contemporary trend of designing airport terminals to resemble shopping malls. It features four boarding bridges with direct access to aircraft—two of which are capable of accommodating large aircraft (including those in the NLA, or "New Large Aircraft," category) —and the new aircraft apron system can simultaneously handle up to 19 large-sized planes.
