The ERJ145 is a twin-engine, narrow-body, regional jet airliner developed and manufactured by Brazilian aviation company Embraer. The ERJ145 is the first and largest member of the ERJ (Embraer Regional Jet) family. It is piloted by two and can accommodate up to 50 passengers. The prototype of the ERJ145 took its maiden flight on August 11, 1995 and it entered service on April 6, 1997. Embraer created several iterations of the ERJ145, with differences in fuel capacity, range, maximum take-off weight, and aerodynamic systems. The model is one of the most successful regional jets ever produced, having served 36 airlines in 26 countries worldwide.
Embraer began development of the ERJ145 in the late 1980s due to increased market interest in regional jets. The company based its initial design on its successful EMB 120 Brasilia, a turboprop-powered commuter aircraft. The design evolved over the subsequent years to the final basic configuration of the ERJ145. The company then developed two smaller members of the ERJ family from the ERJ145, the ERJ135 and the ERJ140.
The ERJ145 features a low-mounted main wing, a T-tail empennage, and fuselage-mounted engines. It measures 98 feet in length, stands 22 feet, 2 inches tall, and has a wingspan of 65 feet, 9 inches. It is powered by two Rolls-Royce turbofan engines. The aircraft has a range of 1,784 miles, a service ceiling of 37,000 feet above sea level, and it cruises at up to 531 miles per hour.
Features:
- Highly detailed exterior and interior model with 4k textures and full cabin
Definitely not worth buying until product is ready, product seems to be release purely for money rather than a working product. Throttles do not work. sounds are bad and nearly all buttons do not work including no working FMC.
AVOID AND KEEP YOUR MONEY
Well, the best I can say is that it needs a little bit of work. Other reviewers are right when they say that a lot of switches and buttons are inop, but there are also a lot that move, but just jiggle a bit and won't move to the opposite position. This thing is parked in the weeds until some updates come out... Back to the X-Craft ERJ in XP12!
Sad. I have never written a bad review. But I can't let this one slide. DO NOT BUY THIS. Its is an insult to us loyal patrons of Simmarket and flight sim in general. The biggest waste of money since I started buying FS addons in 1996. Nothing works. I would have deleted this off my system even if it had been freeware.
This plane sucks and would give it zero stars if possible. Was really looking forward to having an EMB-145 in the sim, however, this is extremely disappointing. Inoperable systems everywhere, borderline non-flyable. Don't waste your money.
Dont do it. Non of the systems work, INOP buttons everywhere, Not even working spoilers or Doors. Flight model is terrible. Poor Job from Flight Sim Federation. This aircraft feels like a port- Not worth £25. This aircraft shouldn't be for sale. its not complete. Ther external visuals are OK at best. Cabin is Poor. Sounds are poor. With the competition at the moment- This has really dropped to the bottom. I was really looking forward to this aircraft. Shame. Hopefully a fully working aircraft will appear soon and Ill be open for changing my mind!
Aircraft needs alot of work, the thrust rating does not work, FMS does not work, sounds are awful, its a nice model but you cannot fly this thing at all
