DDI (DYNAMIC DRAG INDEX)
The SSW F/RF-104G uses the Dynamic Drag Index concept; i.e. when you load/drop external loads not only is the GW changed but also the drag coefficient is affected and the model aerodynamics change accordingly. This is particularly important in the F-104 where external loads affect greatly the dynamic behaviour of the model.
Every specific model has its own internal layout with custom gauges (e.g. Dutch and German Zippers have their own altimeter etc.).
Also note that the internal layout will change into sub-versions depending on the ordnance you're carrying.
SOUND SET
A custom sound set has been developed from scratch, using live recording to give you a full immersion into the Zipper environment. If you are a Zipper fan,you will enjoy staying outside and 'playing' with the throttle, listening to it's unique voice.
RELEASE NOTES
The Sim Skunk Works FRF-104G came in two basic versions:
'SOLO' suitable for solo flights with bump and speculars map with all FSX-specific texturing features
'UBUNTU' optimised for multiplayer without some texturing effects to enhance the FPS friendship.
Even if the SOLO model is FPS- friendly it should not be used in a multiplayer environment for two reasons:
1. It can be demanding on resources and affect your FPS when more than 4-6 players are present.
2. Weapon load-out can be inconsistent between different players.
The UBUNTU model overrides both the above limitations.

8GB RAM (16GB recommended)
GPU: nVidia with at least 2GB of RAM, DX10/11 compatible. Other GPUs such as AMD Radeon are known to work correctly but are not supported by SSW.
Windows 10 (is known to work also on WIN 7, but unsupported)
vACMI (virtual Air Combat Maneuver Installation) must be installed, free download from vACMI/skunkNET site:

We cannot guarantee that our models works perfectly on Mac models when run in Windows dual boot even if we have positive experiences on this. In any case will we do our best to support Mac users.
