Expensive... limited airport coverage... causes stutters as they load in and as you pass them by (ryzen9, rtx4090). The kml files containing locations are too large to view in the suggested applications. Having said all this they still enhance my enjoyment of the sim (just wish there was a lot more airport coverage!)

It'll be expensive to buy all the separate regions but it's well worth it for specific regions where you do more VFR flights. It's so cool seeing birds flying around, sitting near runways, circling over rivers looking for food. It really adds to the immersion. I was a bit worried I wouldn't be able to see them for more than a couple of seconds but the way it's been modeled the birds are clearly visible from a realistic distance. Some locations like Caernarfon have way more birds around than other airfields and that's great. You don't see the same number of birds everywhere. Plus occasionally you see birds flying around en route. The one downside is that if you're already CPU limited, like I am with my ancient i5 9400, then this addon only adds to the problem. Not a criticism but keep it in mind, especially if you want to fly complex payware aircraft between payware airports.

Unfortunately, in my case, it causes serious FPS drop. I checked different airports and different add-ons (I bought all FSBirds in marketplace). On the other hand, it looks very good and natural. You should buy one add-on and test it first.

What a fantastic add on for MSFS. Totally immersive and realistic having birds near airports and when flying VFR in my helicopter to see the awesome sights of flying birds circling in the skies - it doesn’t get better than that. Well done South Oak for a fantastic program and looking forward to the release of Traffic In Sight for the British Isles. Well done Guys Iain

I have a whole bunch of these addons from South Oak and couldn't fly without them, you don't often see birds but when you do, immersion off the charts.

Very good addon, it brings life and realism to your flights at low altitude. Seeing flocks of birds or their shadows while taxi or take off is great! The area covered is very large and the birds are nicely done. No fps drop. Definitely worth it, you can't go wrong.
