DE HAVILLAND VAMPIRE DH-100 IN ENGLISH ORIGINAL VERSION
This third achievement of our team, after the Morane D-3801 and the Vampire DH-100 in a Swiss configuration, is a departure from our goal to model only the historic aircraft of the Swiss Air Force. As the De Havilland Vampire DH-100 is an aircraft of British origin, important in the history of aviation in this country and adopted by many air forces in its original configuration, we felt the need to do the reverse of what happened in the 1950s and to reverse-engineer it and model it in its original version with a cockpit conforming to the FB type. 5 & 9 and in liveries from the countries with the highest number of units: England (2 liveries), Sweden, France, Italy and Australia.
Based on the "Pilot's Notes for Vampire FB. 5 & 9" of 1951, which corresponds very closely to the Mk 6 type manufactured under license in Switzerland, the cockpit and systems have been adapted as closely as possible on the basis of the available information.
