Microsoft Flight Simulator™ is used because it is popular. Aviation principles and methods can be applied to other aircraft in other simulators such as X-Plane, Flight Gear, and P3D.

Because some aspects of home flight-simulation games are not exactly like real-world aviation, some information in this book is not exactly like real-world flight. Use for real-world aviation is not appropriate or authorized.

Prerequisites

Just like the real-world, simulating jets is an advanced skill. Jet pilots know about basic flight, navigation, instrument flight rules, and electronic flight decks. You will benefit from skills explained in these books:
