Matecaña International Airport (IATA: PEI, ICAO: SKPE) is an international airport that serves the city of Pereira, Risaralda department, as well as the entire region of Eje Cafetero and Norte del Valle, in Colombia.
The airport lies along the edge of a deep ravine, 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) west of Pereira. There are steep dropoffs on the sides and ends of the runway.
TOWERSOFT Aeropuerto Internacional Matecaña Pereira features the recently opened new terminal building and depicts the airport in its fully current status, including all new buildings and tower, an extended apron, runway extensions.
Thanks to several square kilometres of hand-placed autogen objects and photorreal scenery, including important landmarks and dynamic lighting, it will always be fun and immersive to fly both nice ILS and VOR Approaches into Runway 08, or very interesting circle-to-land and RNP Approaches into the much more difficult Runway 26.
