Turbine Sound Studios are very happy to announce the mighty Boeing 777 GE-90 soundpack for FS2004. This is 1 out of 3 soundpacks in the TSS Boeing 777 Soundpack line. The Boeing 777 engineconfigs is :

General Electric GE-90 Series.
Pratt Whitney PW40xx Series.
Rolls Royce Trent 800 Series.

With this soundpack,we have captured all the best soundmoments , and put them together, to combine a truly stunning representation of the GE-90 engine.

The GE90 was launched in 1990 by General Electric (USA) associated with Snecma (France), IHI (Japan) and Avio (Italy).

Developed from the 1970s NASA Energy Efficient Engine, the 10-stage high pressure compressor develops a pressure ratio of 23:1, an industry record. The GE90-115B fan is an advanced design made from composite materials and is the first production engine to feature swept rotor blades.

At least one technical paper presented on behalf of one of GE's project partners indicates that further thrust improvement programs will be promoted should a market for higher thrusts arise.

For comparison purposes, the Boeing 747-400's largest engines produce 63,300 lbf (289 kN) of thrust, while the Boeing 777`s largest GE90-115B
is rated at 115,000 lbf (512.9 kN)

GE90 engines can only be airfreighted in assembled form by outsize cargo aircraft such as the Antonov An-124 'Condor', presenting unique problems if due to emergency diversions, a 777 was stranded in a place without the proper spare parts. If the fan is removed from the core, then the engines may be shipped on a 747 Freighter.

This soundpack works amazingly with several Boeing 777 aircrafts, so this is a " Must have " sound upgrade!

All enginesounds are recorded few feet away from the engines of PIA ( Pakistan ) and Singapore Airline Boeing 777`s

I remember Going to Jfk Airport to watch the heavies in action and one stood out to me and that was the 777 with the GE-90s, the take off were absolutely amazing sounding, it basically blows your ear drums, from its signature high whine and smooth growl you will not be disappointed with this one, So are you ready to take take a triple 7 long haul journey then you would want this sound pack as your passenger for it will keep you good company through all phases of flight.

This soundset is definitely one of the best i've heard ! The soundset provides authentic spool up with no missing parts in between. Definitely a must get for flight simmers aiming for both basic and realistic flying who are missing a good sound. Cheers

Very impressed with this product. It is a FAR improvement over the FS default B-777 sounds and also other payware B-777's. I'm using them with the Wilco B-777 and it works like a charm. Installation went like a charm also-very basic and simple. My Wilco B-777 finally sounds like a real Triple 7 both from the cockpit as well as outside. What a feeling to feel that deep rumble in the cockpit upon advancing the throttles...finally! If you're into correct sounding aircraft, then you won't be disappointed.

If I could give this 1 million stars I would, absolutely remarkable, stunning soundset, perfect... not one fault with this realistc APU, engine start is Spot on with the swoosh when the starters are turned right to the famous MOOOOOing when the fuel gets injected to the combustion chamber and the spool up and the full power sounds blew me away and to finish it off reverse thrust and shut down sounds complete the soundset off with absolute brilliance a must have if your a triple seven lover and look in ore of the GE-90 TSS WELL DONE
