i think its a pretty good product and i do hope a better version of the dash 8 q200 cus i relly like flying in greenland in the 200 and using the air greenland livery

Great value for the price. Works well in P3Dv4.5 VR. Some switches not in 3D but functional. Recommended purchase for anyone who wants an entry-level turboprop.

Great product good value for money, ton of livery's to choose from. easy to jump in and fly no 300 page manual, however if you like the study style then this may not be want you want. *just to note, i had trouble landing the Q-400 didn't flare on landing just wanted to keep rising up but i did a lot of test flights and found that flaps 10 is the max, app speed of 130, fuel levers don't bother taking them to max just leave them at min (50%), realistic settings keep sliders all the way except crash tollerance off. well that worked for me and i wanted to share that with you all, have fun.

Schöne Umsetzung für den kleinen Geldbeutel. Systemtiefe ist zwar nicht so ausgeprägt wie bei der Konkurrenz, jedoch ausreichend für meine Zwecke. Sehr schöne und viele Bemalungen. Pluspunkte auch deswegen weil von der kleinsten bis zur größten Maschine alles dabei ist. Flugverhalten ist realistisch. Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

Love this aircraft. Like others here I own high end AC like the Majestic Q400 and most of the PMDG AC. Though it lacks the high def and high funtionality of instruments it is still a great AC to own. Fills in the need for real world routes to small airports. Castlegar with Air Canada Jazz and Huanaco in Peru with LCPeru are a few to name. Probably wont use the Q400 since I have the Majestic version but the 100,200,and 300 come in tons of real world and discontinued liveries. Outside textures look great. Sound is great though I cant get the condition levers to work with my Saitek quadrant. Thats a minor issue for me. Of coarse great FPS's so works wonderful in the ORBX world and FSDT and Flightbeam airports. Probably get the ATR next.

Die Serie !00/200/300/400 ist erstaunlich gut gelungen, nach so mancher Enttäuschung von Virtalcol( man denke nur an die katastrophale Fokker 50, die man fast nicht in die Luft bekam). Natürlich kann die hier gebotene Qualität nicht mit der perfekten DHC 8 von Majestic mithalten , aber alles in Allem eine angenehme Umsetzung mit guten Flugeigenschaften für den Feierabendflug mit sehr guten Außenansichten und nicht zu vergessen einer Menge von Liveries für jedes Modell und das zu einem guten Preis! Deshalb zu empfehlen!

Pleasantly surprised with this add-on! Texturing looks pretty crisp on my system (both inside and outside the aircraft), it's a great plane to hand fly, and performs as one would expect with a twin turboprop such as these Dash'es. Throw in the 100, 200, and 400 models with all the repaints you could ask for - this thing gets 5 stars from me for being worth every penny!

I absolutely love this plane, handles great, easy to land, easy to fly. But there are some problems like the light in the cockpit that is to bright so you cant really see anything. I use the Widerøe models to fly on the short strips of Norway just like I have to do whenever I am going somewhere. Have been looking for years for a payware Dash 8 Q-100 and this was really good.

Bei jedem Flugzeug sind die Schatten der Tragflächen am Rumpf zu sehen. Bei der Landung reagiert kein Flugzeug auf den Leerlauf.Eine Reduzierung der Geschwindigkeit ist bei einem Landeanflug ist nur bedingt möglich.Um eine Fehlerbeschreibung an Virtualcol zu senden ist ein account bei Yahoo erforderlich !! Unmögliches Verhalten ! Antwort der Firma : Fehlanzeige !

I'm one of those casual pilots that don't like to spend hours reading manuals with hundreds of pages or taking hours to go from a "cold and dark" state to a "ready for taxi" condition. I like to jump in an aircraft, toggle some switches ON or OFF, for the sake of some realism, and be flying in no time. Also, highly complicated aircraft in my system takes a large amount of VAS and FPS, so I tend to steer away from them. I'm not a fan of huge aircraft (mostly "tubeliners") and not a fan of little aircraft also (mostly GA). So VirtualCol gives us mid-range aircraft, like this one and others, that is not small or huge enough, that has modern cockpits instruments and so forth. Does this aircraft fly well in FSX? Well, I'm not a real life pilot to know exactly what it does but the flying conditions suits my needs. I'm giving it 3/4 stars because I think VirtualCol could have spent more time refining the textures they made. For example, look closely and you'll find some misaligned lines outside the aircraft (the left side doesn't always match the right side); the virtual cockpit could have been more detailed, not in functions, but in textures, colors and letters. You can refine all these flaws but it takes time and knowledge to do it. In a nutshell, with this product you get a lot of different liveries (the real intention of this product IMO), a really unimpressive virtual cockpit, and some flawed textures. However, in the end it gets the job done.
