Here is the most highly detailed, accurate rendering of the futuristic Piaggio P180II. Great care has been taken in ensuring that fuselage profiles and general arrangement shapes are true to original.

The landing gear operation is highly realistic and detail extends to brake-lines and electrical connections. Landing lights extend and retract and the unique canard forward flap system is authentically modelled and animated.
Luggage hatches open and close as does the port engine cover which conceals a fully-modeled turboprop engine complete with big bore exhaust pipe, hydraulic and electrical lines and more.

The pilots are uniquely modelled with realistic features and life-like movements and the passenger cabin comes complete with passengers(*).
The cockpit is a work of art in its own right. Numerous complex systems and fittings have been modelled in and rendered with texture art that really brings the Virtual Cockpit alive(*). Glass cockpit arrays and flight consoles bristle with switches and knobs that are great to look at and function like the real thing.

The Flight Management Computer is there and allows inputs for flight-planning.

With its outstanding integration of advanced technological solutions and standard equipment offering time-tested operational efficiency, the P180 Avanti II combines superior performance with the very highest levels of reliability and safety.

Cockpit & Avionics 

High technology means safety and efficiency. That's why the P180 Avanti II is equipped with the Collins Pro Line 21 digital avionics suite, which is completely integrated with the aircraft's navigation and communication systems, and is certified for full IFR use - even with a single pilot.
Aerodynamics Background  

Every component and system in the P180 Avanti II is carefully crafted to provide the highest levels of efficiency and safety under all flight conditions. But the real key to its success is an advanced design with many innovative solutions, the most important of which is the Three-Lifting-Surface Configuration. The forward wing of the aircraft (which cannot be called a true "canard" because it lacks control surfaces) contributes to lift, since it is a fixed surface, and is equipped with high lift devices that move together with the flaps on the main wing. The pitch angle of the forward wing is configured so that it always stalls before the main wing. The resulting automatic nose-down effect assures excellent behaviour at high angles of attack. The forward wing has a negative dihedral (~ 5 degrees) to keep its stream wash away from the engine intakes, the main wing and the horizontal stabilizer. Thanks to the aerodynamic advantages resulting from the aircraft's innovative design and construction, the airflow is laminar over a very high percentage of the wing chord. What's more, the push configuration of the propellers prevents propeller turbulence from interfering with wing aerodynamics, which effectively lowers total drag and provides performance that is significantly higher than in aircraft with pull propellers.

I feel that I have wasted $32.00 on a piece of absolute junk! I really should have waited until this aircraft had been on the market for a while longer in order for Wilco to iron out many of the major flaws with this package.

The only plus to the aircraft is the external texturing of each livery...that's it! The 2D panel is half functional and the VC is just as bad. Moreover, the autopilot buttons are "blacked out" and have zero clickability. The only way I can turn on the autopilot is through an assigned key stroke in FS9 for the AP. The FMC is way too limited for my taste and for the money I paid for it. You can only import a flight plan from FS9 or set up your own waypoints, and choose departure/arrival runways with some varying SIDS and STARS but that's all there is to the FMC.

Forget about using FL change or VNAV for descents. The aircraft will descend at -500 ft/min no matter what. The aircraft does fine while using the FLCH during climbs and will level off at the assigned altitude. However, the aircraft loves to porpoise in level flight while in the upper flight levels.

At a 30 degree angle to capture a LOC, this aircraft will fly through it and come back to hunt it down again and again. It will not fly the glide slope well at all. Sick of the way this airplane handles an ILS approach, I have hand flown each one so far. Also, don't use full flaps on approach. You'll need 75-80% power just to keep enough speed on approach!

Well, I could continue my tirade against this horrible product but my fingers are getting tired.

总的来说做的不错,我电脑配置不-
算高,全部设置调到最高的情况下-
运行也非常流畅,但存在一些小问-
题希望开发者能尽快解决: 1.gate1的廊桥存在接不上-
的情况,貌似是因为出生点靠后了-
一点,将飞机向前挪一点可以解决-
问题。 2.gate4的出生点向右歪了-
一点。 3.贴图分辨率必须要到2048-
以上,否则地面和航站楼的贴图都-
有点糊。 另外航站楼内是没有-
做内部的,不过贴图做的非常好,-
所以整体观感还不错,地面看着很-
舒服,尤其是机场整体的色调处理-
的非常棒。除了机场内部,场外的-
建筑基本也都建模了,开发者还提-
供了一个大面积的卫星地皮,但这-
需要用百度网盘下载,这对于没有-
会员的飞友(比如我)来说不太友-
好,不过它直接安装的文件本身貌-
似也带了一小片卫星地皮,所以那-
个卫星地皮装不装也没太大所谓(-
都是一片绿)。
