The airport serves as the air terminal for the city of Valledupar, Colombia and as a small air base for the Colombian Air Force and the Colombian Police. The airport is operated by Aerocivil and two commercial airlines serve the airport: Clic, Avianca and finally Wingo who plans to fly from Medellin

During the Vallenato Festival season, it is common to find the airport's airplane parking area completely full due to the high traffic of commercial, military and private aircraft. Also some cargo airlines that transport all kinds of concert equipment.

The Alfonso López Pumarejo airport is the gateway to all that magical history of vallenato folklore.

This new version (V2) includes the extensions made to the runway and an optimization of interior spaces as seen in the images, as well as animations such as ramp security cameras among others.

I bought SKVP for MFS2024. Overall it have good models and textures (good performance too) but it is not MFS2024 compatible(Like it says and hace the MFS2024 logo in the cover). There is grass growing all over the national apron and runway's tarmac. But what made it worse is that it doesn't have any Navdata information, so you won't be able to put SIDs, STARs, and APP into your FMC. You won't be able to flight in or out of it with IFR proceedures. (I bought it to use it on VATSIM, but it is not possible because of this). To sum up I won´t recommend you buying this at least this is updated and fixed. I only have MFS2024 so I don't now how it works on MFS2020; maybe it works there.

Proper MSFS version of this airport as the old version seemed to be a port of P3D's version.
