Discover the East Frisian North Sea islands now also in the new Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Every single island included – from Norderney over Langeoog to Borkum – has been built with attention to detail. This gets especially clear with many striking landmarks and the color corrected Orthophoto for every airfield. There are many details for you to be explored on every single airfield.

All airfields have been implemented based on over 5.000 photographs and are thus very lifelike. Moreover, there is also the opportunity to approach helipads.

Thanks to the additional HD ground layout and static aircrafts that have been created individually for the region, there is nothing left to interfere with the realistic simulation flight experience.

Leider seit Asobo Update % (xbox update) nicht mehr 100 % kompatibel. Es treten sporalisch CTD auf. Hotfix ist das Löschen des Rolling cache, hilft aber nur vorübergehend. Das Problem wurde mir durch Aerosoft auch bestätigt. Ob es ein patch geben wird?

When I bought this scenery many years ago for FSX, I was thrilled. I did not only get 15 detailed airports, also all the East-Frisian islands were carefully modelled. You flew at low altitude above them and would enjoy those long white beaches and typical houses, those islands are famous for. When the MSFS version came out, I was of course eager to try this latest rendition. Oh boy… on the positive side, all airports with their buildings are well represented, so if you like to walk around those little ports, this scenery is well worth the price. But if you are like me and want at one point leave the island and fly along them, you will be in for a big surprise, because this time Aerosoft decided to cut corners and left except for the airports, everything else to default Bing data. This means when Bing believes that those white beaches are actually green, you will find them in that color here too. And when Bing believes that those islands house large flat commercial structures, you find them here too. The typical charm of these islands is completely gone (except for the airports of course). So why wasting €24 on something that is so disappointing from 1000 feet up, when compared to its predecessor. Come on Aerosoft, you can do better than this!!

Unfortunately not the Quality which is used from AS. The Scenery uses standard Buildings and there are some high-rise Buildings on the islands. The Airports themselves are well done. Diesem Urteil schließe ich mich an, Gelände und Flughäfen sind sehr gut, die Gebäude absolut nicht. Diese Standardhäuser zerstören den ansonsten guten Eindruck der Scenerie, da habe ich mehr erwartet. Vielleicht gibt es ja mal ein Update?

Ja, was soll man denn hier sagen. Der Hammer. Borkum oder Juist sehen und fühlen sich an wie echt. Die Taxiways, alle individuell und optisch ein Traum. Wenn man auf dem Appron steht und den Blick einfach mal rumschweifen läßt und nicht direkt alles analysiert, dann ist man dort. Hier noch ein nützlicher Link von „Dieter‘s Home“, ein Pilot der all diese Flughäfen schon angeflogen hat und - rudimentäre - Charts zu den FGlugplätzen anbietet: http://www.dieter-tholen.de/p/page_airport?ai_code=EDWR Über die Inseln zu fliegen ist an sich schon klasse. Aber dann auch noch auf Plätzen zu landen, die auch wirklich so aussehen, ist fantastisch. Da kann man ein paar Tage mit verbringen. Der Kauf hat sich sowas von gelohnt. Und wer auf Baltrum mit ner TBM oder C208 landet, der hat gewonnen.
