DUBROVNIK (LDDU) is one of the three main airports in Croatia (LDZA,LDDU and LDSP).Airport is situated on the Adriatic coast near the beautiful city Dubrovnik.

After photoreal LDZA2004 and LDSP2006 this is the third my Croatia scenery.

LDDU2006 is like my LDZA2004 and LDSP2006 photoreal scenery based on hundreds digital and satellite pictures and includes:

photoreal day and night textures
semitransparent night terminal windows with arranged terminal interior
correct airport mesh with two levels and correct surrounding mesh
seasonal trees, roads,parking cars and original apron vehicles
close surrounding landscape with coastline,
map of the LDDU airport

This airport is fully supported by AES (V1.9 or higher)
AES includes follow me cars which will lead you to correct parking position,
marshallers, buses and stairs, cargo- and catering trucks which come to your aircraft etc.

Further to my earlier negative review of LDDU the author of the scenery, Davor Puljevic, contacted me to see if he could resolve the problem. He spent nearly a week sending me files to try until eventually he managed to correct the problem. He also asks that if anybody else has the same problem could they contact him at dpuljevic.yahoo.com and he will help them. Now I have an airport that looks great and works well so now I rate it 5 stars. Great to deal with someone interested in solving problems.

I am still having problems with the runway that starts to disappear at 100 feet on approach. I lose half of the runway by the time I have landed which really makes the airport unusable. Have emailed Davor twice but to no avail. I also have his other two sceneries which are great and work well. Such a pity...

LDDU is a popular destination for Roman Catholic pilgrims from all over the world. In summer the airport accomodates all sorts of long-range aircraft from all over the world. Yes, you can easily take off and land with your 747-400s here. I have all three of Davor's sceneries and they all work fine. Installation was trouble-free and I do not see any of the problems being mentioned here. Having flown in and out of LDDU many times in real life I can certainly appreciate the improved landclass and additional autogen that Davor has created to enhance the immersion level. For those of you that are feeling adventurous and like VFR flying take a few minutes to take off from runway 12 and explore the Bay of Kotor which is about 20-30 kms ESE of LDDU. This is not on par with the latest FlightScenery or FlyTampa offerings but worthy of payware.

I have now recieved the missing instructions but the buildings are still floating and the tarmac areas are just not working. Disappointing as every other addon I own works OK on my system Regards GJ

This product is as good as its screen shots but lacks the detail and finish that you find with other scenery producers. The Readme also says that you should alter the fs9.cfg file to stop the buildings from floating above the ground but then fails to tell you exactly what should be changed. Very disappointing. I have emailed Davor for the info but he as not responded. Regards Gareth John
