Düsseldorf Airport (German: Flughafen Düsseldorf; until March 2013 Düsseldorf International Airport; IATA: DUS, ICAO: EDDL) is the international airport of Düsseldorf, the capital of the German state North Rhine-Westphalia.
It is located approximately 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) north of downtown Düsseldorf, and some 20 kilometres (12 mi) south-west of Essen in the Rhine-Ruhr area, Germany's largest metropolitan area.
Düsseldorf is the third largest airport in Germany after Frankfurt and Munich handling 23.5 million passengers in 2016.
It is a hub for Air Berlin and Eurowings and has Lufthansa's only long-haul route (to Newark) outside of its hubs in Frankfurt and Munich.
The airport features three passenger terminals and two runways and is able to handle wide-body aircraft up to the Airbus A380.

Szenerie ist outdated, ILS ist leider komplett falsch eingestellt (viel zu hoch) und die generelle Qualität ist nicht den heutingen Standards entsprechend.

Diese Szenerie braucht dringendst ein Update. Es kann nicht sein, dass auf einem Ryzen 9 7950X3D und einer RTX 3090 ein Start nicht möglich ist, da die FPS auf ca. 5 sinkt. Also liebe Designer - ran an die Arbeit und das flott !

2020 erschienen und seitdem kein einziges Mal ein Update bekommen. Die Szenerie läuft nun mittlerweile wie ein Sack Reis und ist unspielbar. Im FlyByWire und im Fenix A320 im Anflug von 60 FPS auf 3-5 FPS Gedroppt. Das ist unspielbar.

EDDL in this version is not usable. Even with an Nvidia 4090 i get an diashow on landing. I tried it in all kind of settings in MSFS, from Ultra till Medium settings,....Diashow und huge stutters! Sorry guys you have bring an update for this!!! Not recommendable!

It's a decent scenery, definitely giving the look and feel of EDDL, but I think it's asking too much money for what you get. For ~24 euros (I got it on sale for 16, but even then) it would have been nice to see better texturing on the windows, especially during night (image 18 and 19 on the product page shows what they look like). Performance for me is worse than, e.g., SimWings EDDM, as I get a lot of stuttering at EDDL. This could be the default Düsseldorf surroundings loading, though.

It is a nice scenery, but the ground markings for Gates A7 and A8 are mixed up.

Für mich als Amateur, nicht viel auszusetzen. Ein paar verspielte Details fände ich jedoch noch ganz gut. Z.B. tagesabhängig, Zuschauer auf der Terrasse. Angedeutete 3D Räume (Flughafengebäude) von außen einsehbar. Gerade wenn es dunkel ist, macht das Gebäude noch mehr her.

Also die Scenery ist soweit gut, aber es fehlen wichtige Dinge. Am Gate ist die Anzeige, wie weit man noch rollen muss defekt. Die funktioniert an keinem Gate. Des Weiteren sind die Taxiway Schilder nicht zu erkennen. Um es jetzt mal lustig zu sagen, wenn Ihr mal den Rasen mähen würdet, kann man die Schilder sehen. Aber auch dann sind sie zu klein und nicht zu lesen. Das ist schlecht, wenn man den Airport nicht kennt und auch keine Charts hat, wenn man zum Beispiel dem Fluglotsen sagen muss, wo man steht. Sind die von Justsim modelliert oder sind das die vom Flugsimulator? Die sind zu hell und zu klein. Wenn man mit einem Airliner vorbei rollt sind sie weit von dem Bild was Ihr in der Werbung habt entfernt und man kann sie nicht erkennen. Poste gerne Bilder wenn gewollt. Es kann natürlich sein, dass demnächst ein Update der Scenery kommt, wo das alles gepatcht ist.

Beautiful airport. Nicely laid out and accurate. Great looking textures. Can't wait to go back at night and check out the night lighting.
