Timișoara Traian Vuia International Airport
(IATA: TSR, ICAO: LRTR), is an international airport serving Timișoara, Romania. Located in the historical region of Banat, the airport is named in honor of Traian Vuia, a Romanian flight pioneer and a Timiș County native. It is the third-busiest Romanian airport in terms of air traffic, and the main air transportation hub for the western part of Romania and for the Danube–Criș–Mureș–Tisa Euroregion. The airport serves as an operating base for Wizz Air and is considered a backup airport for Bucharest, Budapest, and Belgrade. The airport scenery was realistically recreated based on many references from the real airport. So there are:

I've been to this airport a few times and this is an accurate representation of it. Customer support is excellent. They answered quickly, were helpful and polite, even though I was the one who made a mistake. A customer in the reviews said that there's a problem with the simulator detecting a crash when touching the runway with the nosewheel and that's true. A few seconds after touchdown the nosewheel will suddenly be slammed into the runway. I've found out that the culprit is the mesh resolution, which I recommend setting to 2m. That fixed the issue for me. It works wonders in v5.4. Overall, I really enjoy this airport and recommend it.

This is worth alot more than 11€ as it was on sale right now. this scenery features nice detailed buildings, ground textures, winter details and alot more. i went there at night and the whole city of Timisoara had lighting that was visible from far away, also the airport lighting is reaching far out. i had no problems at touchdown at all. i can really recommend it

Beautiful scenery. Unfortunately there is a problem with the landing with Prepar3D 5.1. When setting down the nose wheel, the simulator detects a crash. Possibly wrong altitude data? ILS on 11 is also next to the runway.

I am happy to add LRTR to my list of European destinations. A very nice airport and I suspect a lot of effort and care went in to delivering this scenery. FPS is great, but I am somewhat confused though as to why some of the ground equipment is parked on the grass bordering the ramp. Good job MLD. John

Seems like this project was a long road for you guys, but the result is stunning. The modelling and textures are top notch! It really adds to immersion, I'm very happy with it and I would recommend it for all those who want to re/discover Timisoara.
