I very rarely give something 5 stars, but this scenery is very nicely done! I only wish Orbx would make CityScene Orlando available for P3Dv5. I paid good money for it when I had it for P3Dv4, but it's useless now. Anyway, sorry for going off topic here, but this product is well worth the price.
The airport itself is very nicely done, but the area immediately surrounding the airport looks very sparse and doesn't blend well at all with the scenery outside of the modeled area. It's flat with a few buildings and almost no vegetation. I flew into Narita for 8 years, and stayed at the Narita Hilton Hotel, which is modeled in this scenery. The area around the hotel was filled with trees and green fields. I'm not sure if this is a scenery issue or not but, I flew the ILS to 34L and even though the the aircraft was on the glide slope it was much higher (AGL) than it should have been. The VASI lights were all white. This wasn't the case with the old scenery I was using. I own several other DD products and have been satisfied with all of them. This one however falls short of their usual quality.
Overall, the airport itself looks nice, although it is not on par with products from Flight Beam or Latin VRF. The file size is only 510 MB, where as this developers SKBO product is 1.24 GB. In my opinion, the main reason this scenery falls short is that it doesn't blend well with the areas immediately surrounding the airport. The area to the east, especially, is filled with low resolution flat buildings and roads which are not realistic at all, even with Autogen buildings set to extremely dense. This really needs to be improved. I expected better quality for the price.
Very Nice job. There are some other scenery packages that I've bought in the past that are were not nearly as detailed and accurate as this is. Well worth the price.
