The SKY SIM MD-11 is basicly a good 3D-Model and that's it. The 2D Panel is (except of the functional Overheadpanel) crap. Although the Overheadpanel is working and nearly all switches are operateable they are not "functional" ...for example you can start the engine without acitvating APU Bleed / Packs on etc. The FMC is baisc and can only use FS Flightplans (But this was anounced) Anyway, the rest of the panel is also very weak.... The Autopilot doesn't really work. For example it's not able to capture a selected altitude (overshoots it by about 200ft and then tries 2 minutes to capture it again). If your in the ALT HOLD Mode and try to fly a new heading the aircraft banks but simultaniously descends with sometimes 1000ft/min etc... so the autopilot is very unstable. The only good of this aircraft is the 3D-Model and the Animations. The 3D-Pit is ok...the rest...well wait for PMDG if you want to have a professional MD-11. The Sound is also very crappy, you can find much better freeware sounds on the Net. Especially the GPWS sounds are very bad recordings, also here you can find better samples on the net.....

Flight Replicas BF109 K-4 is a good aircraft. The 3D-Model is fantastic and just looks brilliant. Also the sound is very, very good. There is no 2D-Panel, just a Radiostack with COM1 and Transponder. The Panel from which you fly the aircraft is the 3D-Panel. It's not that good as the Exitor Model but still very nice. It's also very detailed but somehome appears to me a bit too "clean". And not all Swichtes are useable. But except of this, the BF109'er is a very nice plane. Once Airborne it just flies great!!! Just the handling on the ground/during takeoff is difficult due to the fact that you have to use the rudders to compensate the torque of the engine, which is not that easy.

For their first Addon-Aircraft FlightReplicas did a really nice Job with this... Although it's not a perfect Addon, it's really fun to fly. The visual Model is really good, same for the Virtual Cockpit but I'm missing some Instruments and clickable spots there. Unfortunatly this is not a realistic simulation, the Aircraft has newer engines, not the original Jumo004 Turbojets and therefore you don't have complex startup procedures or the characteristic high pitch engine sound which is ofter reported by old pilots ot the 262'er. The Flightmodel is good and fits to the reports that the aircraft handles poor at low speeds. I cannot judge if the price for this addon is justified... but for those who love this plane it's worth it.. so i give it 3 of 5 stars
