Surroundings not modelled, Airport textures do not show up. So you have black airport builings (P3Dv4). The included fix does not work. Mesh must be set to 76 m or there will be strange effects. Didn't expect very much, but was still dissapointed.
Nice textures, flight dynamics differ from the real plane. No spinning possible. Why including nonfunctional avionics? Every item should fullfill its normal intended function. There are no US labels in our planes. Not available from other companys, so you have no choice if you would like to have it in your collection. Important: The plane is usable in P3D V4 and works without glitches! Just copy the airplane files to your P3D airplane folder. The effect files are not needed.
Have been there during a flighttest in November, when it looks absolutely the same as in P3D. During the summer there may be more traffic around. Quite a nice scenery and highly recommended.
Already own the FSX version. The one for P3D is not very different. The cockpit is a bit dissapointing and puts me back in the 90s. In my opinion 2D panels are outdated by now. Many switches are not usable in 3D mode. The outside model is good. Flight model is nothing special, maybe due to limitations of P3D. The included mission is tricky indeed, but I was suprised that a freeware carrier landing program was installed without my knowledge. If you stop it, the lead plane will not be displayed. The manual could go more into detail.
Does not work for ORBX products. When changing values for water it turns white, buildings, runways and lights are no longer displayed when manipulated. The FAQ section is not available. The manual is very basic. Changed sky and cloud values, result was not worth 20 €.
The third CIMOGT carrier I purchased. The price is outstanding, the ship is a nice addition because it is a small one and tricky to catch the wire. Textures are quite good and using the hangar deck is a nice incentive to get your "carrier-qualification". Frame rates are very good. I highly recommend this product.
Only a few special objects. Rest is a repetition of textures: One type of boat, one type of shops and so on. The ground textures have no natural colour and are in contrast with ORBX Scotland and Just Flight photo scenery. Product has the quality of a freeware product. Not so bad if your home base is situated in the area otherwise not recommended.
FSX version tested: -working front elevator and hangar deck -textures are nice -narrow deck, landing is quite a challenge -frame rates are very good -fair pricing -not availlable anywhere else (free- or payware, at the time of writing) Get the Sea Fury from Flying Stations as a perfect match (maybe still available for free). I recommend the Karel Doormann!
