TAXI2GATE - HAMAD INTL AIRPORT FS2004

TAXI2GATE - HAMAD INTL AIRPORT FS2004

It is great that T2G still supports the fs9. But I have very mixed feelings about this scenery. The Buildings look good and realistic. Nevertheless I have a strange feeling of something very abandoned and unfisnished. T2G charge 29 EUR for a scenery which is the same as the FSX version - but it is miles from that one. Latinvfr made TJSJ for fs9 also more simple than the FSX version but the Price were also lower. Compared to KMCO for fs9 this is also far from that regarding quality. T2G has made a lot of very nice fs9 sceneries but this one is weird and not up to todays standard. I have also an issue the bleeding ground textures that disappear from certain angles. I guess there will an update for this so it is a minor thing for me. I know that negative reviews could mean the end of fs9 sceneries for T2G. That is sad because they have a lot of potential.

THAI CREATION - NAMASTE MUMBAI : CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT FS2004

THAI CREATION - NAMASTE MUMBAI : CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT FS2004

This is a very nice scenery. You can see it has been a huge work for one single man and just the fact that he is doing airports in areas where most simmers never go, should give an extra point. Though it is not of Flytampa quality I still give it five stars. There were some minor things I didnt really like but one can change that himself. For instance I changed the seasonal changes for the trees but it is up to your desire. On my system the scenery has no impact on fps. I have been in Mumbai several times and this is how it looks as far as I remember. I like the autogen buildings which create nice suroundings. At night they are a bit dark compared to the autogen buildings outside the Vabb-scenery but Indian illumination is usually quite weak, so this is how it looks in Mumbai after dark. The animated train is a very nice detail and those blue trains really pass the airport. Since it is fs9 the resolution of the photoreal ground is not very high. Nevertheless I find the beach made in a very nice way. You can even see where the tide goes to and makes the sand wet. the concrete and runway textures are of high quality. The only problem is that it will be very hard to wait for the next Thai Creation scenery.

THAI CREATION - NAMASTE NEPAL: TRIBHUVAN INTL AIRPORT FS2004

THAI CREATION - NAMASTE NEPAL: TRIBHUVAN INTL AIRPORT FS2004

Ok, the problems mentioned in my latest review of this scenery have been solved. Now it works fine and as I already said it is a nice scenery. The airport itself is pretty small but Thai Creation added some autogen buildings in the surroundings giving the entire scenery a good and realistic ambience. The scenery is therefore hightly recommended also because it covers a beautiful area which has a very difficult approach (for me at least). Even though the airport is small I have a small drop in FPS due to some of the vehicles and airport objects (I still get more than fps 30 in the airport so some would say it is nothing to talk about). I wonder why since the other sceneries a purchased from Thai Creation are extremely light on FPS even though they are bigger airports. Its going to be interesting to see what Thai Creation develops in the future. I will defenitely follow their work.

ONET VALLEY - SOEKARNO-HATTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT FS2004

ONET VALLEY - SOEKARNO-HATTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT FS2004

This scenery is very hard to review. When a developer who charge 21 EUR leave the customer himself to do the mip mapping of all the textures I just dont think it is fair. Why didnt they do it. The textures are shimmering which I find totally unacceptable, specially when you can change it just by mip mapping the textures. It takes its time. Furthermore I find the quality of the runway, taxiway and gound parking textures strange and not very nice. I had to change the textures myself to something more interesting, but I did not find out how to change the overall look of the grund textures. The sorrounding photoreal scenery is not very detailed. There is a freeware photoreal scenery which is better, so I changed it for that one (unfortunately no night textures in the freeware). From the other reviews it seems like the support from Onet Valley is non excisting which I find unacceptable. Having said all that I like the scenery nevertheless. It is very detailed (at least when looking towards the airport) and on my system it has no impact on the FPS. I really hope the developer will do more exotic sceneries and that the will do a little more work before publishing - it does need that much more to make it really good. I give it four stars for the overall impression.

XIN CHAO SAIGON - TAN SON NHAT INTERNATIONAL VVTS FS2004

XIN CHAO SAIGON - TAN SON NHAT INTERNATIONAL VVTS FS2004

I reviewed this scenery some months ago. I still think there are some problems with the darkness of the textures but I gave it all a second chance. I have by myself changed the textures so that they became much brighter and that made a big change. Suddenly I can see how nice and detailed the scenery really is. Specially the trees and the ground textures are superb. If you make the tarmac and conc texures brighter it will change a lot and compared to google maps those textures HAVE to be much brighter than they are in this scenery by default. I give the scenery 4 stars because you have to change the textures to make them realistic.

What a disapointment - I have Hanoi and Siem Reap from Thai Creatio which both are superb and real 5 stars sceneries - but this one is kind of weird. The textures are way too dark and the sourrounding town is made in a very strange way. I also have issues with performance and stutters and even from time to time CTD. To me it seems as this time Thai Creation did a left hand work. I hope there will be an update that changes the texture colours and the sorrundings.

BORISFORERO - GUAYAQUIL - RUTA DEL SOL - ECUADOR

BORISFORERO - GUAYAQUIL - RUTA DEL SOL - ECUADOR

I must admit that Boris Forero did a very nice Ecuadorian airport. Unfortunately I found out that the update uses default trees when the former version of SEGU used some very nice trees (DS_GAR.bmp). I wrote Forero and he immediately sent me the old textures to use within the new scenery. Great service. Even though there are no good ground textures og photoreal in this scenery I have to give it 5 stars. I hope Forero soon makes an update on SEQU and maybe even the new Quito airport.
