This is a massive airport and the developer has done a great job of representing it. Lots of detail everywhere, inside and out of the terminals. The animated trains are a nice touch. The SODE jet ways are great and performance even with UTLive running was pretty good. The only issues I encountered was the ground polygon disappearing at certain angles, and flickering on the ground at night with Dynamic Lighting installed. It looks a bit weird so something must be going on with it. Overall happy with my purchase. Fix the dynamic light and ground poly issue issue and it would be 5 stars.

This is an outstanding start by MDesign. The scenery performs really well with FPS varying from mid 20's to mid 50's using the PMDG 777. Modelling is really well done and nicely detailed. Textures are crisp and clear and the night lighting in the main terminal look amazing. I did note the traffic on the main approach road seems to be in the trees not on the road, and the lack of a season switcher means you have to copy files manually to change the textures. If they were fixed this would be a 5 star scenery.

Not sure how anyone can say all the switches in the VC work on this add-on when they clearly don't. While the exterior and VC are very well modeled and this aircraft has good systems, my personal experience was primarily one of immense frustration. The VC lights wouldn't work properly, the documentation was disjointed and missed out large sections of info such as how to get doors and vehicles to move from the cargo hold. The supplied YouTube links are fine, but I want to read not sift through videos for something that should be simple to do. The sounds are terrible, like a modified default FSX Beech King. This product has huge potential but its not one I can recommend at all in its current state. If many of the basic issues and the sound are sorted out then that would change, but at the moment its not an add-on I will keep installed until its made usable.

This is great scenery and for the cost represents very good value for money. Looks good, performs very well, has excellent modelling with some areas of the terminal having inside areas, wonderful night lighting and lots of interesting areas to explore given this is both a commercial and GA airport. Highly recommend it.

Overall this is a really nice scenery. Given its size you can comfortably operate aircraft up to 737/A320 size though I would imagine large props and regional jets would feel most at home given the runway is quite narrow. There is excellent detail throughout the scenery as you can see in the screenshots. Textures are a high quality with the HD making a real difference. Its pretty obvious photos have been used for the majority of the buildings with some lovely reflections in the glass showing whats going on inside. In one area Vidan Design have duplicated the reflection in the glass of a white car by having a white car sitting in the carpark where it would be. This is clever and indicative of the thought and care that has gone into the development of the scenery. I liked the inclusion of an animated hangar door using NAV tuning. Runway signs and lights are effective and clear, and the ground markings on the runway are very good with the paint looking suitably old and crusty. Using the tool to change seasons gives nice contrast throughout the year with summer, fall/Autumn and winter having unique texture sets. From a performance point of view Sonderborg is frame rate friendly and I was able to maintain smooth performance throughout my land and air based explorations. If I was going to ask for a few improvements they would be that night lighting be added to the hangar, it looks real dark and spooky in there at night :) and adding some traffic to the main road will increase the immersion factor. If I was going to be really picky I would look at the models used for cars in the carpark, the wheels could do with some smoothing. Overall I would rate Sonderborg X 7/10. Adding the touches mentioned above would push this rating to 8.5. This scenery is well worth a look.

For a small coverage area this is one of the best sceneries I have had the pleasure to fly around. The textures, level of detail, puddle oil effects and richness in the scenery is quite astounding. I found small details everywhere and enjoyed spending hours just cruising around the area on the ground let alone flying. You get a real sense of immersion for the area. The seasonal textures are very impressive, I particularly liked how vegetation, particularly corn crops, are very different depending on what time of the year you fly, and it certainly is worth trying them all. Winter feels so cold and frozen, just as summer feels so warm and nice. Highly recommend this for GA flyers. For the price they are selling it for this is a steal. Do yourself a favour and buy this scenery.

This is a great little scenery. The airport is highly detailed with lots of things to explore and discover both around the airport itself but beyond as well. I have found it to perform really well on high settings in FSX. I really like time they have taken to provide that key landmarks around the region are included as well, it certainly gave me a better perspective regarding the tsunami they had and its impacts. I can certainly recommend this scenery, and am keenly awaiting their next release. The only reason I am not rating this 5 stars is due to the lack of animated jetways, something I really like.
