JUSTSIM - STUTTGART AIRPORT - P3D V4.4+

JUSTSIM - STUTTGART AIRPORT - P3D V4.4+

A classical JustSim airport. Nothing special but not too bad either. If you own any airport of this developer you know what to expect. Nothing more and nothing less. The groundpoly by Digital Design is probably the best to mention here, it's quite a step up from earlier selfmade groundpolys by JustSim. However nothing 'new' compared to the last couple of JS airports.

A lovely addon to enhance your flying experience. I flew flight simulators since 2009 and the first thing I found to be really different when starting to fly real airliners was the feeling of flying was totally different. Turbulence effects were one of these points. RealTurb adds a lot of these effects into flight simulation. Flying an approach to Edinburgh with the winds coming over the hills is finally no longer as simple as flying a wind calm cavok day as it used to be, even with Active Sky. Now you have to work to get that aircraft on the ground, even if it is a 60t 737 and not just a 1,1t Cessna. Flying around the Canaries in the ATR also became a lot more fun than it used to be! Another huge plus point is the discount you get if you previously owned RealTurb Holiday Airports or Greek Islands. I never expected such a discount so I am very positively surprised. As a last word to the developer: Thubs up, you're doing an excellent job! Five stars!

MFSG - PERTH YPPH FSX P3D3-5 FS2004

MFSG - PERTH YPPH FSX P3D3-5 FS2004

3 Stars for a much needed airport in flight simulation. The airport is nicely designed, but not state of the art. Had this been released in 2013 it would have been a 5 star scenery, for 2019 we can expect a little more however. There is no 3D terminal interiour, textures look a little washed out and during night only the terminal is lit in P3Dv4. The rest of the airport is pretty much pitch black. In real life you can still see a little of the ground around you due to the large number of lights at airports, this is not the case here. My overall impression is that this is a nice airport to fly to every once in a while but it's not in pair with most other sceneries released in the recent years. If you are from the area and looking for your home airport, or if you only want this airport as a stopover for Qantas 9 to London I can fully recommend it. If you are looking for a high end scenery, featuring all the lovely features we keep seeing in recent releases such as FlyTampas Vegas, FlightBeams new airports, etc. then you should reconsider the purchase.

FLYSIMWARE LLC - FALCON 50 FSX P3D

FLYSIMWARE LLC - FALCON 50 FSX P3D

A great addon for a great aircraft! This simulation features the classic analogue version of the Falcon 50 business jet. Almost all systems are simulated and working as per the real airplanes flight manual. The ability to integrate almost any GPS addon available on the market makes navigation easy and provides the user with lots of options. The REX/Milviz weather radar can also be integrated and works perfectly with the aircraft. I would recommend this Falcon to anyone looking for a well looking, flying and system deep business jet. To those of you also looking at the Carenado Falcon 50, I tried both and this one is my favorite. While it does not feature a glass cockpit the ability to add the Flight1 GTN series fills the gap. And it is far less buggy and a much greater joy to fly!

HIFI TECH - ACTIVE SKY CLOUD ART FSX P3D3-6

HIFI TECH - ACTIVE SKY CLOUD ART FSX P3D3-6

4 stars for a solid product. The new cloud models are nice and surely something different from what we have been used too earlier. Togeather with AS16 this definately makes up a nice experience and the possibility to change textures on the fly is something the competition has always been lacking so far for sure! I can not give the full rating though as the textures themselves are not as good as some of the competitions textures - from products that are quite some years old by now already. The VAS usage also seems rather high since it seems that ASCA is simply loading all the textures into the sim right away and then just chooses which set to display. This of course costs VAS and gave me some 300-400mb additional VAS usage compared to my previous setup (REX4). All in all, if you got the VAS to spare and don't have any texture addon yet I'd recommend to give this a try. It is certainly worth the 22€ it costs right now.

TAXI2GATE - MUNICH AIRPORT EDDM FSX P3D

TAXI2GATE - MUNICH AIRPORT EDDM FSX P3D

I'm a big fan of T2G sceneries and Seattle was really great, Munich however is rather not. If you're only looking for great textures this one is certainly for you. As always T2G have done a great job on the textures of the buildings, aprons, etc. That's about where it ends though. Already the grass and concrete right next to the apron is of really low quality and looks nothing like the real Munich. The accuracy of the scenery is also far below what one would expect for almost 30€ these days. FlightBeam, FSDT and the like do a lot better job on these! If you know the real airport or have previously used the Mega Airport Munich you will be rather disappointed by the details in this scenery. T2G spared details at any point they could (to improve performans/VAS?) and here they certainly spared to many! This scenery got a really good potential, but they'll need to improve a lot on the details with their next SPs, otherwise this is unfortunatly nothing more than eyecandy. Knowing the real Munich quite well I am quite disappointed with this addon, certainly for this price.
