In real world flying, birds present a unique and dynamic challenge that pilots must always avoid. Each year, in the United States alone, thousands of aircraft encounter bird strikes that account for millions of dollars worth of damages. Pilots must be vigilant in the low altitude environment to avoid hitting birds, and many times evasive maneuvers must be taken. Add a unique challenge and increase your simulator’s realism by using FS Birds!
FS Birds Southeast USA Features:
-Bird coverage for the entire area of Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Arkansas
-Multiple types of birds including pigeons, buzzards, eagles, seagulls, and geese
-All birds are fully animated
-Flying birds range in altitudes from the surface up to 11,000 ft with random flight tracks
-Ground birds at all major international airports
-Flying bird animations include soaring raptors, circling seagulls, formation geese, random pigeon flights, and soaring eagles
-LOD optimization results in a negligible impact on simulator frame rates
This add-on brings life to the virtual world.
Of course, after installation, birds won't be buzzing around everywhere.
Is that different in the real world?
I love this kind of immersion it adds so much more to the sim when you land at Pompano Beach and a couple flock pass you over head "Hey, look some birds!" happy to support the development of this great idea to expand the immersion of this awesome sim. 5 star seal of approval.
Excellent Addon. Does exactly what it claims, adds fowl to the virtual world.
South Oak Co is a prime MSFS addon publisher. Looking forward to more of their titles.
Was wonderful to see the first time a set of birds flew by. Reminded me of real world flying and immediate brought me back to when I saw something similar on an actual flight in New England. The rarity and appropriateness of the birds in their locations is truly great.
Thank you so much!! James
I have both mods. :)
