Lambert-St. Louis International Airport (IATA: STL, ICAO: KSTL, FAA LID: STL) is an international airport serving Greater St. Louis. It is about 10 miles (16 km) northwest of downtown St. Louis in unincorporated St. Louis County between Berkeley and Bridgeton. It is the largest and busiest airport in the state with 250 daily departures to about 90 domestic and international locations. In 2010, 12.3 million passengers traveled through the airport. The airport serves as a focus city for Southwest Airlines.
Named for Albert Bond Lambert, an Olympic medalist and manufacturer of Listerine, the airport rose to international prominence in the 20th century, thanks to its association with Charles Lindbergh, its groundbreaking air traffic control, its status as the hub of Trans World Airlines, and its iconic terminal. Designed by Minoru Yamasaki, the building inspired terminals at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City and Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport in France.
Love this product! I agree with everyone else tho, it definitely lacks autogen around the airport, and MAN it would be great to have all of the detailed highways and accurate landclass all around it.. but still this is better than nothing!. Thanks again Taxi2gate! Hope to see some updates soon!
I would like to see if there is a fix to put the airline logos on all the jetways and an ILS system for the 3rd runway(11/29)for easy approaches(the red boxes). Other than that, It's better than what I used to have which was freeware.
Thanks for putting it out there for purchasing.
It took me a while to decide on this one from Taxi2gate primarily due to the screenshots here that does not give it any justice whatsoever. So I took a leap of faith;having already acquired a good deal of their scenery, and let me tell you..nicely done. On my hardware, the scenery is remarkable. I only wish they would provide an update it to allow more autogen closer to and around the airport...Good job Taxi2Gate
