Once again we are very proud to offer the most detailed and accurate renditions ever created for the Microsoft Flight Simulator of two of South America’s major airports. Special attention was paid not only to the existing passenger facilities including most recent changes and improvements but also the major changes still underway today. No effort was spared in our attempt to accurately portray the two airports in a way that helps the simulator pilot experience not only the exotic nature of the facilities but also the atmosphere of modernization and transformation that makes them exciting and unique.

SPIM Lima Jorge Charvez

Lima’s airport is challenging in its own right. Thanks to its location on the Pacific Ocean coast, fog and low clouds are the norm making it an ideal place to practice instrument approaches and procedures. Once again, high resolution satellite imagery was used to provide the most accurate backdrop possible. The field was rebuilt including the 11000ft runway and recently refurbished taxiways. The newly completed terminal was rendered as accurately as possible to reflect its unique features with unprecedented level of detail. Special attention was paid to the glass structure, and in the FSX version we offer some of our best reflection effects to date. The brand new freight complex was also included, as were most of the numerous general aviation and military installations in the field.

Scenery Features

  • Custom-made optimized Gmax models of the passenger terminal including the air traffic control tower, the new freight handling facility and most relevant maintenance, military and general aviation within the field boundaries
  • Custom-made, high-resolution textures for all Gmax generated models
  • Custom-made high-resolution ground textures fitted to the runway at its correct location
  • Accurate taxiway and ramp layout including detailed markings and signs
  • Realistic ramp illumination effects, approach equipment and animated radar facility
  • Advanced, custom-made AI mapping file including realistic gate and parking spot layout and airline gate assignments. (A basic AI mapping file without gate assignments is also available.)
  • Two levels of scenery complexity and detail:
    • NORMAL complexity includes terrain texturing, autogen vegetation, airport layout with taxiway signs and basic navigation equipment models (actual localizer and glide slope radio signals are available regardless of the scenery complexity setting), most buildings within the field’s boundaries including all terminals, the air traffic control towers and general aviation, cargo and maintenance facilities.
    • VERY DENSE complexity adds detailed instrument approach lighting system models, static ramp vehicles (optional) and infield trees (optional).

SKBO Bogota El Dorado

Bogota’s El Dorado is without a doubt the most challenging major airport in the world regarding altitude and aircraft performance. Located at 8300ft and completely surrounded by mountains, SKBO will challenge any pilot’s ability to push the aircraft to the very edge of its performance, especially during departure in long-haul operations. In order to accurately portray this airport in FS2004 we had to start by completely re-building the terrain surrounding the city of Bogota using the latest satellite elevation data available to the public and compatible with the simulators. As usual, we used high-resolution satellite imagery painstakingly blended with the surrounding terrain to provide a realistic backdrop. We then re-built the field including its two 12,500 ft runways. Finally, we spared no effort in capturing every detail of the two passenger terminals and the new freight complex which, as usual, we rendered in its finished configuration based on existing structures and artist renditions of the project.

BluePrint Sceneries are advanced Microsoft Flight Simulator add-ons designed to work properly in today’s average computer. For optimum performance while taking advantage of most scenery features (VERY DENSE scenery complexity setting or above) in FS2004 we suggest the following hardware configuration:

  • Intel Core 2 or Core Duo CPU or better (6400 @ 2 x 2.13 GHz fully tested)
  • 4 GB RAM (fully tested)
  • nVidia 7000 series video processor with 256-bit memory interface and 512 MB dedicated video memory or better (nVidia GeForce 7950 GT fully tested). An Intel Core2 Quad and nVidia 8000 series video processor may be required for best performance when using the EXTREMELY DENSE scenery complexity setting (Intel Core2 Quad Q9300 @ 2.50 GHz and nVidia GeForce 8800 GT fully tested).

Please note that default service vehicle models have been used in both versions of the scenery. Nonetheless, due to the large number of them needed to achieve the desired effect, addition of vehicles has by far the most significant effect on frame rates and overall performance of all scenery components. The same, although to a lesser extent, applies to additional (non autogen) trees. A NORMAL scenery complexity setting is required for any BluePrint scenery to be displayed in the simulator. At this level only 50% of the available vehicles will be displayed. (Please note that other nonessential features will not be displayed at this level as described in the scenery features section above). Alternatively the vehicles and/or trees may be removed completely by leaving them out during scenery installation. This is by far the most effective way to improve frame rates and overall performance of this scenery.

I am amazed by the shanghai city center especially the bund and pudong area, also with acceptable frame rate, whether flying from or landing either the Hongqiao or Pudong airport, now with the shanghai city skyline gives a lot of immersion

I think this may be one of most worthwile airports out there when it comes to prive/value. There are enough devs who ask for over 20 Eur for comparable work. There is really not much negative to note here. The textures look great for the most part. Performance is pretty good. Not many words to loose on this one, just get it. For this amount of money you cannot get anything better. Imo its also the best of all FSDG Lite releases.

First of all, I would like to thank the developer for the Syracuse Hancock Airport. I feel deeply connected to Syracuse and finger lakes area, so I'm glad I can make few flights to and from this airport. Howev-
er. Just like one of the pilots before me, I think, the price for the quality if too much. I know, the airport has been released some years back, but I had to spend another 5-6 hours working on afcad file (adjusting gates, adding missing airbridges, hazard lights and also apron lights, as these do not show in my sim for some reason). I visited Hancock airport in late Autumn of 2019 during snow blizzards so I was hoping, come winter, I will be able to do some nice winter flights only to discover, that the ground textures are for summer time only! So in order to do winter flights, I had to remove some of the original files and work on landclass from scratch. Not something I was expecting to do after paying for the airport. So, all in all, I took one star for afcad I had to adjust, one for land class I had to do myself and one for lack of winter textures.

This is a follow up on Vienna and how the developer responded. Although a fix was attempted to make this airport right the developer ran into some issues that were beyond their control, so they did the best they could. The developer was very apologetic and made me the customer a generous gesture, they are not bad guys they just ran into an issue beyond their control. I have almost every one of their sceneries and I can tell you they are not bad. As far as Vienna goes what they offer is still much better than default, so give these guys support, they all work hard. The rating given is for the great response from Prealsoft

I would rate it somewhere between 3.5 to 3.9 if possible. Its not a bad airport, really. In the latest version it looks pretty detailed on daytime. Nothing is 5 star, not the PBR, not the textures and nothing else but its also far from bad. The modeling of the ground is actually really good and and big step ahead when compared to the other EDDM scenery we have. Every little road between the buildings, as small it may be, is modeled. The ground is also not the best but also far from the worst. Textures are of in most parts, some roofs are low resolution though. Overall its fine. The night doesnt look the best though. There the other EDDM does a better job. Overall-
, one can see that the airport has the XP ShortFinal as a base. It looks better than the competitor in daytime basically everywhere. A lot better modeling of details. More realistic colored textures, its nearer to the actual airport. Nighttime lacks some love though imo. Its not bad, dont get me wrong and better than others but also, like in every other category, worse than the top dev ones. What i can say is that Simwings gets better and better. The last airports, GCLP, LEMD and this one are way better than earlier releases. If it would be 5 to 7 Euro less it would be great. The high price is a bit too much. Still, i dont regret that i bought it.

This is a very nice scenery and necessary for the Caribean to fly. Even if this is published as "P3Dv4" there is a possibility to get this into P3Dv5 with the help of the developer - update for the config-tool needed and a patch. This all is handled in less than 10 hours. Thumbs up !
HUEYTUNING - PAF890SAR FSX P3D

This is a very short review of the excellent PAF890SAR repaint. I tried the paint kit by myself, but I wasted 2 weeks of time and at least 60 hours searching for any parts and could not find them. Finally, I gave it up. Designing a white repaint is anyway the hardest task. This pay ware repaint is worlds better than all the default and freeware repaints ever made for the Milviz Huey Uh-1h. I’ve made the effort and was comparing it with MILVIZ default USAF Rescue repaint. Here are just a few details that shows the skills of the artist. 1. The yellow stripe with the registration 66890 and the two blue stripes are designed very exactly around the tail fin. On the default USAF Rescue repaint, the black stripe at the tail fin was only mirrored and looks very loveless. 2.Th-
e PAF890SAR repaint is the only repaint where the landing skids are colored in another separate black tone. 3. It is also very striking that the antenna on the roof is painted in white. 4. The yellow ribbon and every single letter from the vertical lettering has been perfectly adapted to the shape of the body, (that’s a masterpiece) 5-
. Additional maintenance levels have been incorporated with lovely details. 6.The Rescue Angel and the Huey 2 stickers are razor sharp even in highest zoom level. I’m definitely thrilled with the great implementation of this Philippine Air Force rescue helicopter. I will definitely buy the other two repaints. The price may seem a bit expensive at first glance, but hey, try the paint kit yourself and you will quickly realize this PAF890SAR repaint is a masterpiece No doubt, five stars!

Buyer Beware this scenery has problems and the developer states there is "No Fix" on their end for this. The color of the land class is very washed out and the ground, (land class) loads as you fly directly in front of your plane; it is very annoying and looks and performs bad. How he is allowed to continue to sale this is beyond me!

Very small but nice details, it s worth the small price- not more: Flaggs and vehicles are not moving, fields and "grass" don't even look as good as ORBX Global BASE!. No comparision to russian airfield Severka UUML (also just fields, but UUML looks really nice!). W A R N I N G: You have to add the scenery MANUALLY into the library, but you have to delete '\herning' in the first field (folder) otherwise you can't install/use the scenery..! (took me a long time! :-(
