This is like always a top product , and when I saw Taxi2Gate Doha I didn't wait one second and bought it direct. Like most airports of this company it's the top, and worth every single euro, and slowly on the Persian Gulf get better and better in combination with Kuwait and Dubai. Fantastic.
I must say its true , Rome is a really a very good and nice airport scenery which made my day. First I was waiting for the other reviews, and when they came I decided also to give it a chance, and I am very happy with it, waited a long time for Rome. Night lighting is also fantastic. I never understood why Aerosoft did stop this project, because this airport is top and of high standards, much better than a lot of others airports, and which cost sometime much more. Buy it !!
I bought this very expensive new airport to make my FSX Far East airports series complete. This airport is exactly like the one from Overland FS9 , but after one full weekend testing and testing I still have a lot of big problems. I am very sorry I bought this product. Its a waste of money 41 euro for a product like this., the textures have an extremely long loading time, even after the the lite texture replacement . When people ask 41 euro for a new airport I expect its a good one, but it isn't at all. Why does wing creation ask such a very high price for something I think was not tested good enough before it was released. I bought MMMX which is twice as big 2GB which works fantastic, this airport is only 1 GB and doesn't work in the way it has to do. My first complain in years !
As I had bought this product before for FS9 which was more than perfect I downloaded the version for FSX, which is not good at all. The textures ( are from 2004)of the liveries are not as good and its looks very strange with many different shadow/painting problems . The textures are absolutely not as good as the perfect FS9 download and its completely different from the perfect set for FS9. Secondly the team (perfect flight)doesn't seem to want to do something about it, they even don't see the problem, I think they can not be really bothered about it. The problem is I think like some sceneries and add ons, is for some teams to difficult adapt to FSX. Don"t waste your money.
I have bought this product yesterday evening and I must say its a fantastic scenery and I didn't have any problems at all. The only negative aspect I find the platforms and aprons seem to look a little too green and are not realy looking as the platform and aprons of WIII. I had a free one with AES which was also very good, but this one is much more detailed and looks more real. I give it four stars !! I hope AES will be possible soon.
Best scenery of Paris I have have bought, its really great only negative side is no night lighting like most add on scenery's. But the scenery of Paris is more than fantastic !! Hopefully they will make more scenery's in the future which also have night lighting as well. My add on lighting system of Zinetec is of course not working in this new add one, and that is really very disappointing . If you like to fly in the night over Paris and like to have lighting you have to put this scenery of Paris out.
When I bought this fantastic new airport I also had a problem with the ground texture, I also wrote to overland, and next morning they responded to me with an excuses and everything was directly fixed. Top service When I saw this new airport I wanted to have it directly , and I was completed over whelmed with this fantastic new airport which made my Easter weekend a super weekend. I have downloaded more products of Overland 3-4-5- but this is really the best I have ever seen from their hand. I give it a 10 plus. And my compliments to the team of Overland.
