SSW Harrier is a not conventional model, it can be considered both a wing-borne and a jet-borne aircraft model since it can take-off and land using wing-lift or using engine nozzle vectored thrust.

To implement such not conventional characteristics was a challenge but we believe to have obtained a  behaviour very close to real as witnessedby real pilots and real former Harrier pilots.

Transition flight from jet-borne to wing borne and viceversa is surprisingly smooth, all typical vertical or short types of takeoff and landings can be performed with a very high degree of realism

SSW Drag coefficient concept implementation:

As known FSX has several limitations, one of these is that is not expected a model can change his shape during the flight (except for flaps surfaces et similar), then there is no possibility to dynamically change the drag coefficent. The static drag coefficient is stored either on .air or aircraft.cfg file thas is read once when the model itself is loaded into memory and cannot be changed easily, or at least in a documented way. SSW has developed a C/C++ .dll module that overrides above limitations, from now on our models will have a single .air and a single aircraft.cfg, changing configuration in flight (ie: dropping weapons, tanks) will affect not only the weight, which is already possible, but also the drag coefficient. Since the module behaviour can be easily customized it is also applicable at any type of model.Another step to achieve the max realism possible.



Flight characteristics have been accurately reproduced, almost all flight conditions: conventional takeoff, climb, cruise, combat, descent and landing are very close to flight tests and performances tables.

The model has, like in the real plane, the SAAHS (Stability Augmentations And Holding System) that greatly enhances manouverability and departure resistance.

Flaps are handled by a computer controlled schedule, no flap lever is provided, like in the real airplane user can choose from 3 flap operation modes: CRUISE, AUTO an STO.

The RR 408 engine combat trust and JPT control have been reproduced.



All aspects of Harrier vectored thrust flight has been reproduced with an high grade of realism:

LIDS (Lift Improuvment Device System)

Sideslip acceleration with RPS (Rudder pedal shaker) a system to warn the pilot of a sideslip condition

Computed and displayed hover weight based on air temp, altitude and gross weight, therefore computed fuel quantity permissible on board

Computed and dispaleyd STO parameters, nozzle STO stop angle, STO nozzle rotation speed, ground roll, etc.

To enhance the real feeling some random perturbations are injected on the three axes during the hover.

All of above systems assure an high degree of realism and a great smoothness in the transiction from jet-borne to wing-borne flight and vice versa.

we cannot guarantee that our models works perfectly on Mac models when run in Windows dual boot even if we have positive experiences on this. In any case will we do our best to support Mac users.

I know this is only £7 but its unflyable the MCDU is useless you cannot input a flight plan so its absolutely pointless and clearly aimed at people who play rather than simulate so don't waste your money
In all my years of working with software of any kind, I have never seen a more responsive, active, and talented developer. At this point, Asobo should hire Bijan and give him the keys to overhaul the entire terrain and photogrammetry system. I'll make this simple, this is a must have addon for MSFS, and should be an instabuy for anyone who uses the sim regularly. It's rare I find a developer so good and so on top of things that I just instantly buy anything they put out. Excellent scenery for this airport. I love the character that it retains at night; while other airports become dead and barren, Airwil's RPMY is lit up, buildings abuzz with activity, and signages lit just as expected. Excellent representation of the RPMY I fly into on Mindanao visits.

Excellent airport, I love the fact that it has a lot of character at night as well as in the daytime. Whereas other airports become barren at night this scenery has all the signs and interior lights that remain lit up in the evenings. Extra details are great as well and elevate the full flying experience.
Vast improvement with tree removal! Will there be a USA North Roads coming? Hoping so! Plenty of trees need clearing here on my street. Great work!
AMSIM - 白俄罗斯-明斯克国家机场 UMMS MSFS
Beautifully made scenery, and it adds the second runway that is missing in MSFS. I’ve been many times to Minsk, so I can say: this scenery looks very accurate, both tarmac and street side! I only struggle with the ILS approaches - none seems to work as expected (I tried with the stock TBM930 and the CRJ). Precision landings with low visibility are not possible. I use Navigraph.

Exceptionally good scenery. Just notice that the colouring of the gate numbers for 81 and 83 are black instead of red. Still a great job overall and a long time coming.
ASIAN AIRPORTS - 韩国-首尔-金浦国际机场 RKSS P3DV5
Great Airport! I would be interested in a Daegu and Gimhae Busan by this dev.
Overall a good scenery, great custom 3D models and textures. But it needs some big texture improvements around Yas Marina F1 circuit. The textures look very basic and unrealistic around the grass and track. There are freeware versions of this scenery that has a much better F1 circuit. It also needs a better 3D model and textures for Ferrari World, especially since it is such an iconic building.
