JUSTFLIGHT - 146 PROFESSIONAL MSFS20/24

JUSTFLIGHT - 146 PROFESSIONAL MSFS20/24

An excellent product, lot's of YouTube video reviews out there if you want to research deeper. In short it gives good value for your money, multiple types 100,200,300 pax and cargo variants. Good graphics, convincing sound set, and a nice flight model. An interesting jet with advanced capabilities prior to pure glass MFD cockpits. The built in checklist's are easy to follow and work well to be successful operating as a single pilot. Simbrief and Navigraph integration is well executed. Not much else to say other than I think it's safe to say if this is an aircraft type you like buy with confidence.

FLYSIMWARE LLC - FALCON 50 FSX P3D

Cant give it 5 stars because the VC graphics while being fully functional, just aren't up to the standards of the day. That said it's an incredibly fun aircraft to fly, and a worthy purchase if your not put off by the VC graphics.

A2A SIMULATIONS - ACCU-FEEL V2 - AIR, LAND & SEA P3D ACADEMIC

I've had every version of Accu-Feel and this one took awhile to get to P3dV4 but it works as advertised. Brings a lot of lackluster planes to life. Not needed for advanced payware models but works great on planes like the Carenado Do228 and Shrike and some of the Just Flight models I have in my virtual hangar. Sort of a bummer that there is a plug for a discount for previous version owners in the embedded you tube video description that either never materialized or was kept for those who purchased direct from A2A? No worries though as this is worth the full price and I'm happy to support a solid flight sim developer like A2A and happy that I had the option to purchase it here from SimMarket.

AEROSOFT - DOUGLAS DC-8 FSX P3D

AEROSOFT - DOUGLAS DC-8 FSX P3D

Really an excellent simulation of a classic. System depth is extensive you get a lot for the price. Following the amplified checklists can take around 30-40 minutes before your ready to taxi but shortcuts can be taken. The INS system is also included and quite detailed. A joy to hand fly but you need to stay on top of things because there is no automated systems like Auto-throttles and V-Nav modes; you got to fly it. Comes with a complete set of performance charts to help you determine correct stabilizer trim , EPR values and fuel requirements. This is far superior to any other DC-8 available IMO and is a must have for any fan of historic steam driven jetliner. Btw the yokes are removable by clicking the air-brake lever on the MIP. My wish list would include a dedicated cargo version/livery. A load/flight planner with a little bit higher fidelity and the ability to incorporate Milviz Wx Radar. The radar included only displays terrain, or at least that's my understanding. Nice Job!

TURBINE SOUND STUDIOS - MD-8X JT8D PILOT EDITION SOUNDPACK FSX P3D

TURBINE SOUND STUDIOS - MD-8X JT8D PILOT EDITION SOUNDPACK FSX P3D

Bought it because I thought the included sounds with the Maddog X (64bit P3dv4+) were slightly lacking. Made a noticeable difference the engines are more noticable from the cockpit and have that unique angry buzz/humming characteristic as you push the throttles up for takeoff. Whether realistic or not from the flightdeck is debatable but it improved my simulation experience and I feel it was worth the price.

JUSTSIM - DRESDEN AIRPORT EDDC P3D

JUSTSIM - DRESDEN AIRPORT EDDC P3D

Good scenery, the buildings Jetways and apron are all done well. The glass textures aren't that great especially at night, they're not transparent, just sort of a hazy light blue. Dresden is also a little hard on my fps nothing serious but I did notice a bit of lag. They also seem to have raised their prices a couple of Euros as compared to the two other airports by them that I have purchased. 3.5 Stars.

FSIMSTUDIOS - QUEBEC CITY AIRPORT CYQB FSX P3D

It's a nice airport with a great location a worthy addition to anyone's collection. I give it 3.5 stars. Nothing wrong with the textures or modeling but not state of the art either. Not the best night environment the entire terminal is illuminated at the same level which hurts the immersion. No performance issues noted good fps. Would purchase again.

AEROSOFT - MEGA AIRPORT FRANKFURT V2 PROFESSIONAL P3D4-5

AEROSOFT - MEGA AIRPORT FRANKFURT V2 PROFESSIONAL P3D4-5

It's big and bad, a true mega airport that feels alive! There are so many buildings, gates, blast shields, ramp objects that it's astonishing I did not notice any significant FPS hit. Flew the approach to RWY 25 in the Airbus CRJ-700 and was really impressed at all the terminal detail you can see. Taxied back up and over the highway via taxiway P to the main terminal and was very impressed with the shear volume of detail this package provides. I don't live in Germany and have only been to the airport once in real life so I can't vouch for its current state but, I was able to taxi around using charts from my navigraph subscription and could clearly tell where I was from just from looking around and then verified that assumption by checking the taxiway signs and other markings. I really like it a lot; two big thumbs up!

AEROSOFT - CRJ 700/900 X FSX P3D

I like Aerosoft and I buy a lot of what they distribute but this CRJ is a lemon! It has a lot of annoying bugs such as the FMS not following the flight path, ctd's, slow refreshing gauges. It also has lackluster VC Graphics and a weak soundset IMO. Maybe it'll get better with time and patches but the support staff seems to be very defensive on their forums locking threads blaming users etc. very uncharacteristic from what I've seen in the previously. I gave it a star because it does hand fly nice and one more for potential. Running version V1005 on P3dV4.

PAULO RICARDO - SALVADOR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT SBSV AND CITY FSX P3D

PAULO RICARDO - SALVADOR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT SBSV AND CITY FSX P3D

I had to come see what all the hype was about and while I was not left speechless this is really nice scenery! So much so it prompted me to buy two more by Paulo Ricardo Sao Paulo and Fortaleza. Either his skill has increased with each new release or more options became available to him over time (or both) because this is the best of the three in my opinion. One thing that remains consistent is that performance fps and VAS seem very good. I like that he models much of the cities that you would fly over on approach and departure. It's sort of looks like OSM (open Street Map) data that's been textured so as not to look so bland. A nice compromise of looks vs performance. The night texturing is particularly well done in my opinion and integrates with FTX Global providing a rewarding experience. I've paid more for less with other developers so in terms of value this easily earns five stars.

WX Advantage Radar

WX Advantage Radar

It's a nice radar and works as advertised. Limited 3rd party support for V/C 3d integration but the once that do have it, mostly Milviz, look good. No noticeable fps impact even when I undock it as a 2d gauge display and drag to a second monitor. I docked it two stars for the following reasons... 1 for price: even at it's reduced intro price it's still pretty spendy for a stand alone gauge. at 22 eros its more than a lot of decent scenery and more than 1/3 the cost of the Milviz 732 Combi which was the primary aircraft I purchased it for. 1 more for the combination of a few minor quibbles, TCAS button seems inop on my version, tilt gauge knob does not correspond with the scale surrounding it, (tilt is however displayed on the gauge so you know what tilt is set), some vague instructions on how to install manually when an aircraft does not show up in the auto installer (but support is quick and helpful). Would I buy it again...yes Would I recommend it to a friend...maybe? I'd be more inclined to say yes if I knew they don't have Active sky, need a radar, and don't mind 2d panels on the planes that aren't currently supported. If you can hold out I bet the price will come down in the future (holiday sale) or especially if a competing product comes to market.

AEROSOFT - SIMSTARTER NG FSX P3D

AEROSOFT - SIMSTARTER NG FSX P3D

This is an amazing piece of utility software. Don't let the rather bland screenshots of its GUI trick you into thinking this is a armature effort...It's Not! While being incredibly powerful it's not difficult to use once you get use to the concept of how it operates. I had passed on purchasing this many times simply thinking that there is nothing this program can do that I can't do myself and it will end up just being another utility to run prior to flying; I could not have been farther from the truth. The more I use the program the more I am beginning to realize it will be an essential add on for me. I have a lot of scenery and the ability to group and manage it alone is worth the price. I use to find myself essentially doing a pre-flight checklist launching programs... 1.Active Sky...Check 2.FTX Central...Check 3.REX Textures...Check 4.Track IR...Check 5.Vpilot...Check Not anymore, Sim starter can do all that plus configure the internal simulator settings for the type of flight I will be doing on that run. Awesome Software 5*+

SXAIRPORTDESIGN - NORFOLK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT FSX P3D

SXAIRPORTDESIGN - NORFOLK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT FSX P3D

I purchased this based on the previous positive reviews. I thought that perhaps the screenshots were just poor examples of the actual product; I anticipated a three star product and that's what I received. The accuracy of the airport might well be spot on but the textures and quality of the modeling is sub-par IMO, certainly nowhere near the level of the high end developers. Sure it's not terribly expensive but there is a lot better scenery available for the same price or less. That said I wouldn't recommend this unless you just have to have Norfolk.

JETSTREAM DESIGNS - LITTLE ROCK NATIONAL AIRPORT 2014 FSX P3D

JETSTREAM DESIGNS - LITTLE ROCK NATIONAL AIRPORT 2014 FSX P3D

My first Jetstream design and it's a pretty nice piece of scenery. It installed into P3d V2.2 using their included installer without issue (I did not have to use an Installation tool like EMT). Frame rate friendly and some solid modeling work around the terminal. I would consider buying from this developer again. IMO their work on this release puts them a little below the top tier (Fly Tampa, FSDreamteam, Flightbeam and the latest releases from T2Gate) and a little better than your average Imagine Sim, Tropical Sim releases. Bottom line is that it's the only commercial version of Little Rock that I know of and it's worth your money if you want to add that airport to your Sim.

CARENADO - C337H SKYMASTER HD SERIES X-PLANE 10

CARENADO - C337H SKYMASTER HD SERIES X-PLANE 10

This is actually the first Carenado aircraft I have purchased for Xplane that I prefer the FSX version over. It's still a great plane and worth your money but I don't care for the smaller Garmin unit and the enlarged Collin's radios that fill the void. Some have said that they like the large digits on the radios, making them easier to read, but not me. I'm docking it a star for the radios, which is more personal preference than anything, as well as having to go find a patch to fix the toe brakes that are missing. The toe brake issue should have been updated by now and lastly for the small but annoying Option and View Control Icons that remain visible on the side of the V/C which should have an option to hide. The night lighting is excellent and it's a joy to hand fly. My complains are small when you take all the good thinks that this plane does; it's still my favorite GA twin on both platforms FSX or Xplane 10.

DMAX - BLACKSHAPE PRIME FOR X-PLANE 11

DMAX - BLACKSHAPE PRIME FOR X-PLANE 11

Nice plane, it feels like your own personal hot rod. Handles very well, easy to trim and fly by hand. The EFIS knobs are a little difficult for me to manipulate from the VC but other than that it's a great addition to my fleet worth the money. The Author is very responsive too. I had a question about the datarefs used in those effis knobs because I wanted to program them to a hardware switch and he replied right away and was very friendly and helpful even though my questions were probably a bit out of the norm for typical support. If your looking for a lightweight fairly simple machine to just enjoy the scenery but still has style and speed this is the ticket.

JROLLON - CRJ-200 XP

JROLLON - CRJ-200 XP

Quite simply this CRJ 200 is currently the finest regional jet on any platform FSX or XP. It's a little heavy on frames but I've got enough horsepower to run it at 30+ most of the time. It will dip down in the 20's in heavy weather around a detailed airport (Aerosoft) but is still very manageable and I could turn down some rendering options if I wanted to. Great graphics and sounds, awesome 3d cockpit with Track IR. It keeps me flying Xplane.
