Just updated to version 1.1.0 (added over wing views and a lot more great stuff) and all I can say is WOW!! These folks have built an amazingly genuine MD-8X aircraft. I flew the real deal over 20 years ago and this bird faithfully replicates nearly every switch, dial, FMC and system. Make sure you read the manual(s). They contain a wealth of information needed to fly her like the real world MD-8X. Some people have complained a little about the flight/fuel planner not being able to use 3rd party flight planning software - you CAN use FSCommander - even the FSX planner - make sure you update both your FSX nav data (freely available) and your FMC nav data (subscription) so all navdata matches the FMC database. Then simply plan your flight, then export (if using 3rd party planners) and save to FSX - as mentioned earlier, you can use the FSX planner too). Then using the Maddog load manager, grab FSX plan (in documents/FSX files) and load it into the Maddog manager. Make sure to filter the manager's nav database within 2500 Nm of your starting airport (this stops identically named waypoints from another country from causing a, say 1500Nm flight from becoming a 12,000Nm flight - I learned that the hard way!). Then look at the manager's waypoints to see that they add up to the FSX plans approximate distance. Now save it into the Maddog X folder (in Documents/Maddog X/routes folder) as an .mdr route - you can even rename the route to your liking. Simply input that "company route" name into the FMC's "co route" page, then add a departure runway and SID, then arrival runway, its STAR + transition (if a transition is available). Simple, fast and accurate. Highly recommended aircraft!

As always, FlyTampa has hit another home run with this vast airport. Textures are sharp and clean and the accompanied scenery configurator (I happen to own every FlyTampa product on FSX Sp2) allows tweaking for almost every user out there. Having a high end pc gave me excellent results, but with everything set to HD (default installation is HD), one can easily run into OOM due to high VAS - in this case, I simply installed the "lite" texture pack which hardly affected the visual quality (my FSX cfg is set to 1024 max anyway so I wasn't perturbed by this in the least); after all this is a flight simulator and I want to fly rather than worry about CTD on approach to Amsterdam! The surrounding areas are also covered which is always a huge plus in my opinion - this addition adds the finishing touches I always am drawn to. A job beautifully done! Highly recommended.

It's about time somebody produced scenery for KRIC! My family's home is only 5nm north of this airport and I regularly fly in and out of here for both military reserve duties and for personal sightseeing. I'd love to see you folks replicate KOFP (Hanover Air Park - Hanover county abutts to Henrico county) which is about 5 miles north of our family home - it's yet another airport I frequent regularly. Central Virginia is a gorgeous place to fly almost all year round. Autumn is particularly beautiful with the dense woods changing colors. I was going to give this 4 stars but I added the 5th because proceeds go to a very good cause - something not commonly seen in our hobby. Thanks for the great work folks! Please consider doing Hanover (KOFP) airport and a few more dotted around this area - (Louisa County springs to mind) soon - I'd buy any of these in a heartbeat!

Just purchased this after much deliberation with regard to poor performance and UTX incompatibility. So I first checked the T2G website for updates and there they were there to address the crashing objects, the UTX compatibility, and a general update to version 1.1. I downloaded all of them, then purchased this awesome package. The installation was straight forward, but the general update needed guidance to place it in the FSX folder - it is set at default program files(x86) which is not where FSX should be in a Win7 x64 platform, so be sure to guide this update properly (I made my own folder and and named it "update 1.1", then transferred all the scenery files straight into the existing one - one cannot be careful enough and I have learned my lesson long ago to always see where things go, lest I pay the price!). With a top end system (i7 6700K @4.8Ghz, Nvidia GTX 980, 16Gb DDR4) and FSX on its own drive, this is still a hungry scenery package. My sliders were all full right (using the PMDG 777) and there were good FPS, but the autogen can cause a few loading stutters in full clear weather, but bring the cloud draw distance (or visibility - or reduce ai traffic) back some and it's very smooth for the amount of scenery you get. With ASN live weather, it's even smoother (visibility in Mexico City is almost always hazy). All in all, this is an excellent package if your system can handle it, or if you're willing to bring back some settings. There's a lot of buildings here, including the city and I really look forward to flying my PMDG 777 in and out again. Five stars from me.

A huge apology with regard to my previous review! All the problems I had experienced have been completely eradicated within half an hour of contacting Digital Design support! The extremely friendly chap (Evgeny) was, as always, very prompt to reply to my email (it was well after working hours for him too) and he talked me through getting everything working (including LIRF) again. He had me up and running in less than 10 minutes. The new ULLI (V2) is a work of art! Digital Design really know their stuff and are always there if and when you have any problems. Evgeny is a true gentleman who possesses such a calming nature - this was very helpful in that it immediately got rid of any stress and frustration I was experiencing. His email started out with "Hi Bill!! Calm down and don't worry. I will help you with everything here!" That said, I highly recommend this add-on scenery. No hit on FPS, VAS or any conflicts with UTX/GEX even at the highest settings. I wish I could delete my previous review - this scenery deserves all 5 stars.

I was using Aerosoft Mega airport Budapest for many years (on FSX and FS9 - the latter no longer on my new computer) and decided on an upgrade. I'm very happy indeed. This version is definitely worth every cent. Visually and performance wise, it outdoes Aerosoft. The grass is volumetric, the night lighting spectacular and (very important for me) still allows me to use AES services. I use UTX and GEX world-wide and this presents zero compatibility issues. With sliders maxed, I still had no performance problems whatsoever. FPS (fixed at 30) are solid all the way to the gate. I hadn't heard of LHS until today, but these developers know their stuff and I hope to see many more additions from them in the future. Worth every star in my opinion.

Superb work from any angle! High FPS, low VAS, excellent performance at the highest settings. I cannot fault this scenery. At this sale price a real bargain! At normal price still excellent value!

Updated from my last review, I'm very happy to say that Evgeny from DD has promptly replied to my email and this airport is now updated and absolutely brilliant! I always appreciate customer support as good as this and wish I could give more than 5 stars for LOWS (and all DD's other airports). All the fixes are now listed below in the product description. In closing, one really can't go wrong when dealing with a developer like Digital Design. Thank you!!

I installed the this product before an email came today say there is an update. The product description below says this downlaod is 3.72Gb split into 3 files. But when you go to your account to download it, there ius only 1 file of 1.31Gb in size. I cannot understand how they can pack all the scenery of this package into a file that small so I hgave written to both SimMarket- and DD to ask if this is correct. I am not willing to break a perfectly beautiful airport until I'm assured the update is really a complete installer. This is a masterpiece.

I find it difficult to understand that nobody reviewed this scenery! Though it's a fairly dated work, it still an excellent rendition well worth considering. T2G is apparently at work for their release of this airport - it will have to be a whole lot better,of competitive pricing, and include AES services for me to consider swapping. I cannot seem to grasp the use of either GSX or SODE (documentation is either sparse or simply too complex) for similar airport services, nor can I tolerate the look of FSX stock jetways cutting into the side of my aircraft!

PIS does some amazing work that not only looks awesome, but always gives smooth, stable high FPS without ever causing OOM's. Another feature of PIS projects is their attention to surrounding scenery that extends much further out than its rival's scenery does. In this regard, my only constructive criticism about this airport is its rather dull looking surrounding industrial areas that are very washed out photo scenery with not nearly enough autogen to fill it all in. Adding more trees, buildings, houses and shrubs would help here significantly. Compared to their RPLL scenery, which includes the gorgeous Manila city skyline, this is almost barren on approach to the airport. Hopefully they will update this scenery so it is on par with Manila.

I said I'd be back after giving 3 stars a few days ago and as a result I change my rating to 5 stars. I contacted T2G support via the contact area of their site. Cortes was back to me in only a few hours (pretty nice considering it's the festive season!) with a zipped up fix for the bridge crashes. Now that's the kind of support that sets a precedent for other developers to adopt! Thank you Cortes - much appreciated. Okay, the grass might be somewhat lower quality than what we'd expect from T2G, however, I am not phased by this whatsoever because their overall representation of Munich is simply top notch. With that in mind, have a look at the "other" developer's (quite a bit older) rendition of the grass at Munich and compare the rest of the airport, then ask yourself which version of EDDM you'd rather have for nearly identical cost? Don't get me wrong - I still love Aerosoft's work and happen to use a very large percentage of their FSX airports. Also, their support is right on par with T2G - simply excellent!

I ALWAYS love T2G's work and have purchased every scenery they made, so I added this today. Unfortunately, all my aircraft are sinking at every bridge. This is a widespread problem and the forum has many people hoping for a patch asap. I sent T2G support an email with screenshots and coordinates and I know they won't ignore this. In the meantime, I have had to take away 2 stars until this is rectified and I am pressing "Y" at the bridges just to get over them until a patch is implemented. Still, I love Taxi2Gate's work so don't be deterred by this. They are an excellent developer and a patch is sure to follow soon!

Following my warning about the installer - there IS a way to install this safely. Just make a new folder and point the installer to it. Then copy and paste the folders to their relevant places in FSX. Then activate it in the scenery library. I couldn't be bothered though. I am waiting to hear from LatinVFR's support staff on this. Possibly a new installer is in the works.

FSX Installer doesn't know where FSX is. Even if you point it manually, it doesn't extract the contents of the folders to the correct places. I also installs a folder named "FS2004 Uninstaller" in the directory you aim it to! I realized this problem when going to activate the scenery (yes, you must do this yourself - this installer is antique - made before the release of FSX). Be careful! If I went any further and applied the patches provided, it could have cost many many hours of frustration cleaning up a corrupt FSX!

This has got to be one of the most beautifully rendered airport scenery I have had the pleasure of flying to and around! The graphics will blow you away as you pass over the city late afternoon September. All textures are sharp and well defined, yet give one an amazing impression of reality - without any stutters, FPS drops or VAS emptying whatsoever on a 3 YO i7 PC with sliders on high !!! I know you will enjoy this masterpiece as much as I. This is going to become one of my most frequent airport destinations in FSX! Well done PIS!!

Being a dedicated HiFi Active Sky user from the onset, I upgraded sequentially as this amazing team listened to our feedback. They not only delivered, they surpassed every time. I was using AS Evolution until yesterday; seeing as I also just purchased PMDG's Boeing 777LR, I wanted to use its advanced weather radar - of course, the HiFi team got involved with the seamless integration and I am blown away by its super-realism! Aside from that, so many other areas have been improved way beyond my expectations. No more cloud popping, no more clouds hugging high terrain and mountains, amazing in-cloud visibility reduction and so much more. Using Active Sky Next with REX 4 plus with their soft cloud package has made my simulation experience so realistic that I have nearly grabbed onto my chair during turbulence, wind shear (audible alerts will wake you up too) and wake turbulence. Even the lightening effects and sounds have improved hundred-fold. At the upgrade price, I definitely got a heap of bang for my buck! Thank you HiFi Technologies and keep up your amazing work!

Finally!!! Being a Perth resident, I fly through Sydney regularly. I had been using Sydney Professional (not too good at all) and was hoping someone would create this magnificent airport - voila...FlyTampa comes to the rescue with all their amazing glory. This airport is simply outstanding. 5 stars with no reservation! Thank you!!!!

Simply beautiful! I've been waiting for this airport for a long time. It comes with a complete customization tool - airport vehicles, various effects on or off, time of year, etc... even with them all on the FPS is great. If you have an older rig, don't despair! They thought of everything!

Stunningly beautiful!! What can I add to all the other reviews? Hardly touches FPS and the city amazing in every aspect. Even when the wind is strong, you will get sand blowing! I go out of my way to fly here just to impress non-flyers. I sent my airline pilot friend a few screenshots of this from over the wing and he asked me "When did you go to Dubai?" ;-) He was convinced I was really there. All I can say is Get it now!

Don't believe all the reviews you read; rather add the stars up and divide by the number of reviews for an average. Even that can be far from the truth, especially if there are few reviews. For one, this version of RJAA doesn't look "exactly like Overland's (FS9) version" at all! If that were true, Wing Creation would be in trouble for violating copyright law. I happen to have both FS9 and FSX on my system. Looking at Overland's RJAA which is in my FS9 simulator, then this in FSX paints a very different picture indeed. The Overland version is very, very dated and extremely dull to boot. You also have to take into consideration that nobody has the same PC specs as you do, re - "loading times are way too slow". This may be the case for some with lower end machines, or how things are set up - that is an enormous variable in itself even if systems are the same. All that said, this is a very nice airport indeed. It's 100 percent better than Overland's version, plus it utilizes AES (I highly encourage its use) for the active jetways and service vehicles. In fact, I always check add-on airports for AES compatibility (or definite future inclusion) before deciding to buy or not. Easy to check if you have AES installed (and the developer doesn't say anything - like here). My AES says this version uses 4 credits - that alone adds 2 stars for me because I know this airport will really come alive. Even if you don't have AES, all you need to do is go to the Aerosoft site and check what airports their current AES version covers. You can install AES for free and use its "demo" function to start with, then go ahead and purchase credits as you go. 4 stars from me.

I have to say this is a great package. The screenshots here do it very little justice; it is much, much nicer in the simulator - trust me! Not only do you get a great airport for the money, but you also get a very nice SAS Airbus 319 (two models - one standard and the other a retro). OK, they are not CDU flown aircraft, but planning in FSX the old fashioned way using the GPS/NAV function (a la stock aircraft) will get you there. The aircraft is of very good visual quality. It has a functioning VC with good wing views as well. It has virtually no impact on FPS as well. For the money spent, you cannot go wrong. I'd snatch this up in a hurry if I were you because it's worth a heck of a lot more in my opinion. I thought about buying the "other" EKCH airport sold here, but went with this after reading all the positive reviews and seeing that a free Airbus 319 came with it, I just had to buy it - I'm very pleased with my decision.
